First of all, I was amazed by the decorations, after being to many restaurants in Tours, this is one of the most unique and stylish restaurant. The service was excellent throughout the night and we had petit fondue and crepe which taste really good! Highly recommended!

Great french take on american style of dining, the food was good, I had a platter with cured meats, cheese and bread and my friend got the crepes. Outstanding was the dessert crepes, very rich options on the menu, I went for cream, ice cream, lots of chocolate, it was delicious. The staff were nice and friendly, I believe they... More

The setting is just amazing, the restaurant is decorated like a french home from back in the '50s, with very odd features such eating in a bathroom or a bedroom... Very original ! Service is pretty gold and the food is great for such a kind of "crêperie", a great venue for families and friends.

The same as the previous review we came across this little gem by chance. It is a lovely out of the ordinary place, like nothing I've ever been to before. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and the food was delicious. I loved the extraordinary décor. Everywhere you turn brings a smile to your face. We had lunch there... More

We stumbled across this whilst wandering the streets and I fell in love with quirky decor! We really enjoyed the food there and if we had more time definitely would have gone back. It would lend itself well to bigger groups but was also nice for just the 2 of us

I had lunch at Mamie Bigoude. What can be said about food ? Especially when the specialty is crepes (Brittany pancakes) and cider. It's fine, no more, no less. But you go to Mamie Bigoude for the ambiance and the design of the house, which is very creative, and a kind of fresh air in Tours. I will go there... More

Mamie Bigoude is a surprising restaurant at the heart of the medieval headquarter in Tours (France). You'll enjoy the best of the traditional French cuisine, specially the crepes, which are delicious. Anyway, more than 'just' the amazing food, Mamie Bigoude is worth a visit because its unique ambience, e.g., you can eat in the bedroom or the kitchen. Every detail... More
