I went with a french friend of mine, we had the gourmet menu and it did not disappoint, from my aperitif, starter, main, cheeses, desert and digestif! All were fantastic! The knowledge of the staff was excellent, they knew the food how it's made, the appropriate local wine and made amazing recommendations. All on all I would definitely recommend to... More

Nice atmospheric restaurant in old part of town, seemingly patronised by locals when we visited. We opted for the set dinner menu. Everything was good, scallops, rabbit and steak were excellent. Worth booking as it filled up quickly.

Tried the lunchtime plat du jour and was not disappointed. Good food freshly prepared. Menu was available in English but staff still happy to translate what was available. Waitress recommended an inexpensive but really nice wine.

Set in a tastefully modernised mediaeval building, this restaurant really hits the spot. The atmosphere is nicely relaxed with attentive staff and service at just the right speed. The food is brillliantly thought out. Flavours are subtle, presentation superb and the whole experience puts you in a good frame of mind as you get back onto the street. For this... More

Visited this restaurant with family and had a really great experience! Everything was DELICIOUS - the starter, main meal and desserts. The chef was kind enough to propose a nice bowl of strawberries for my daughter who didn't want to have any dessert from the menu. The dishes were well presented and the staff were very friendly. Very close to heart of Tours. Offers delicious french specialities. Worth a try. After 8pm Tours become a ghost city. According to Guide just living place was "Place Plumere" La Deuvaliere was very close this place. You can find many good restaurants around also

Went here based on a recommendation from the host at my Hotel and other TripAdvisor reviews. I was happy to find that the quality of the food had not being exaggerated; it was excellent and good value in relation to the price. I also really liked the style and layout of this restaurant. I found the price / quality ratio... More

The food was outstanding, the atmosphere modest and homey and the price was reasonable (32 E for 3 course menu). The service was casual and effective. This is in the old part of Tours, just steps from the main square.
