We had two excellent meals here. It is "posh" inside and we got both an amuse-bouche pre-meal and a little Black Forest gateau afterwards. The young waitresses were very formal and clearly been trained to be so.I thought it was expensive but the quality of food was first-class. It appears to cater for tourists rather than local people, but avoids being... More

As others have mentioned, this restaurant is not terribly impressive from the outside, but inside it is an upmarket establishment with a seriously god cook. We went for the menu de Degustation, and greatly enjoyed it - the seafood dish of scallops and langoustines in particular was outstanding.

This restaurant is in very unprepossessing surroundings next to rail station and is very plain from outside. However, inside it is an elegant French restaurant, very good and friendly service but best of all is the outstanding French food at a good value. The Menu with a couple of glasses of wine for about 40€. I recommend this restaurant to... More

Close friends treated me to a lovely dinner at L'Odéon. The place is just the right size for having a private conversation in peace and quiet, the service was discreet and efficient, and of course the food was excellent: authentic, completely home-made, i.e, using fresh ingredients (an exception these days!) and the choice of wines was very good, too. Dinner at L'Odéon was one of the best meals we had in France, although, if it were not for other reviewers, I might have never gone in, simply because the dining room was empty, a potential warning sign. On a Wednesday night, there were only one or two other tables seated. Fortunately for us, we went in anyway without a... More
