Cute place with good food!

A few weeks ago, my wife and I enjoyed a light dinner at this restaurant in Tours. We enjoyed it very much. Our dinner crepes were excellent, I particularly liked mine which had grilled beef and potatoes, my wife's had salad ingredients. Instead of wine we decided to try the local specialty of cider, it was just delicious. The crepes'... More

This was definitely my culinary highlight in Tours. The Grange des Celtes is not a very big restaurant, yet its owners really seem to lover their job and taking care of their guests/customers. When I said that I wanted to try some original local cidre I was given a small selection of different tastes from which I could then choose.... More

The waiting time was a little long, both to place our orders and to pay. The choice on the menu was extensive, especially for the savoury crepes, but there were also eggs, omelettes and salads for those who want a change. Quality wise, we were slightly disenchanted. The ratatouille in the crepe was definitely out of a can, and we... More

Very cute little cafe/restaurant right next to Tour's central cathedral. The servers are extremely friendly, speak English very well, and are fast and professional. Although its in a touristy spot, tourists are not the only people that eat here and the food is definitely good enough to stand on its own with any other restaurant in Tours. A great place... More

Big menu, very friendly. Got quite busy around 1pm with locals. Good comfort food. Had crepes with bacon, potato etc. Omelettes look good too. Leffe on tap... Now I need to walk this off!

Ordered a galette and salad. Almost everything on both entrees except lettuce and eggs were came from a can. Very tasteless and below average. Service was friendly though. Overall, I don't recommend it at all.

This small creperie situated very near The cathedral of St Gatien has an extensive menu of galettes and crepes. One of our favorite eating places in Tours it offers good value. A cheese and ham galette, a simple crepe and a bowl of cider will set you back a little more than 10 Euros (Aug 2012). Service is fast and... More

Sometimes you want a lighter meal that is full of flavour. Crepes you think! Well this place in Tours fits the bill perfectly. Prices are modest, around 8 euros per crepe and there are loads of different tasty fillings. Accompanying drinks are modestly priced. The classic accompanying drink cider is sold here. The place is understandably busy but service is... More
