Having recently purchased a property in Chinon, my wife and I discovered this excellent restaurant, which is homely & friendly. The atmosphere, decor and the staff are only exceeded by the quality of the food, which makes for a memorable and enjoyable evening. A definite must for anyone visiting this lovely town. D & SK more

This is a superb establishment. Value for money, charming welcome and service. Deserves all the paise heeped on it by the Gault Millau guide and others. What an excellent and fairly priced wine list. A 2000 Savenieres at 30e turns out to be a Roche aux Moines, a priviledge to drink with your Cabillaud in a wonderful sauce Bravo more
