If you're at Chenonceau you must eat here!

Yes it's pricey, but it is so worth it. The self service place looked good I admit and if you're on a budget you may need to do that, but if you can afford a splurge this is the place to do it. Everything about it is perfect. The ambience, the service, the food. It looks like it might be... read more

A charming restaurant located inside Chateau de Chenonceau. We dined at the conservatory with a beautiful setting. What I liked best was the French onion soup with pork loin. It was exceptional. It was one of the very best pork loins I have tried outside Hong Kong. However the rest of the dishes were not impressive. The service was very... More

Unfortunately the food is very good, but the service is snobbish, condiscending, patronizing..from the Maitre D, to the waiter. The feel very high and mighty if you ask them to hurry up to bring the check after almost 2 hours & 45 minutes lunch. That is how long it taken to have a simple lunch. Sadly the food is very... We booked a table for 2pm as we wanted to see the Chateau first. We chose well and enjoyed our meals. The dessert was the best my partnered has ever had. memorable.

Lunch at L'Orangerie was very nice in an idealic setting. Although the menu is gastronomic we found the food to be more on the gourmand side which is to our liking. We took a table on the inside with the beautiful tile floor and high ceilings. You can also take a table outside if its not too hot.

Delicious food, and what a setting! It is a shame that you need to pay to enter the chateau even if you just want to go for lunch... We would gladly have gone again! The food was divine, and was in such a peaceful setting, after the bustling visit of the chateau itself.

Delightful location for quality lunch if you are visiting the Chateau in the morning or afternoon. The service was friendly and professional and dealt with English language and allergy issues well. The fixed menu food was interesting and had three choices in entree, mains and dessert. The plates were a delight. Overall, delightful location and decor, good professional service and... More

My wife and I ate here with our kids (age 8 and 10) during our visit to Chateau Chenonceaux. We had made reservations prior to our visit. We ate outside and when it started to rain, they lowered the tent-like walls automatically to shield us from the rain. When the rain cleared, up they went. Service was attentive and friendly.... Really good menues for around 30 euro. Excellent starters with homemade ravioli and fresh asparagus, fresh salmon and a huge cheese selection and good ice creams for dessert. What more to ask for? Yes - a lot of tourists - just as us:)
