It was a very wet day so, after visiting the Chateau, we were grateful to get inside. We were seated near the entrance so didn't have a view of the Chateau but of green landscaping. Service was prompt and the food was great. Actually the presentation was an A+' the food a B+. Still, it was lovely and a very... More

My wife, daughter, and I had lunch here on a rainy October afternoon after touring the chateau. What a delight! The rillettes/rillons appetizer was one of the best ever. We enjoyed delicious wine, soup, salad, and wonderful main courses. The restaurant was very quiet. A nice treat after a beautiful day at the chateau.

We ate at L'Orangerie and had a great view of the gardens and the chateau, in an extension in front of the main dining area. No problem. Everything went extremely well. This was a real surprise. I'm not sure we expected food of this quality, nor service. However, it was a delightful experience in good measure because the staff was... More

We chose the Chateau's restaurant for a special occasion (80th birthday lunch) after considering a number of options, such as the (very good) Michelin starred restaurant at the town's main hotel - and we didn't regret our choice at all. The surroundings were delightful and lived up to the pictures and given the number of covers they are serving the... More

The setting is incomparable, the food presentations were artistic, and the service was leisurely but fine for a relaxing experience. The staff was pleasant and helpful and enhanced the moment. You must make reservations.

We had made an advance booking for a table of 6 so that we did not have to wait on a Monday prior visiting the Castle Chateau de Chenonceau, as this was the only restaurant in the vicinity. There was a busy crowd when we arrive at 12 pm and we were given a table outside the restaurant which was... More

We arrived on a busy Saturday in August and luckily we had booked. We experienced a wonderful lunch for 5 people, the service was out of this world as was the four course meal for 29 euros, we started with a kir each with nibbles, and a bottle of Rose wine, the four courses were amazing, this was our second... The setting in the chateau's orangerie on a summer's day is idyllic and the menus start at €29 which for the standard of food we were presented with was well worth it. We had 4 courses and they were all exquisite. The service was excellent and the waitress replaced my broken glass with another one and a new bottle of... More
