Just take the menu de degustation, but better take fish as I did. I heard one neighbour table complaining about the meat. They know how to make desserts you can not resist

We choose this restaurant mainly because my spouse is a vegetarian and they are one of the few restaurants in Touraine that has a dedicated vegetarian menu. While I do not expect service in France to rival that found in NYC, I don't expect to be ignored for most of the meal. We were seated at 8pm but were not... More

We were guests for lunch here. I thought the food was quite good. There was a lot of variety and a number of amuse bouche. Our host provided the wine from his winery which was very special. We had pigeon, rabbit and John Dory as mains. All were excellent. Can't remember the starters and a cheese course. Don't know the... More

This is a place for a special meal of exceptional quality...for which one will pay a high price. The food is perfectly cooked and well balanced with extra small dishes between courses that add up to a generous meal. The food has not spiralled off into the over elaborate absurdity that characterises some top end dining: it is subtle and... More

You couldn't get a more sophisticated, delicious and abundant meal in the largest cities. Very inventive and still approachable (not just strange). We had the "prix fixe" meal, which was a little bit too much for me, with all of the little extras they serve, but fantastic for the variety.

The daily menu has a price of 52 euros. The items a la Carte run around 27 euros for an appetizer and 30 to 40 euros for a main dish. A cheese plate runs 16.50 euros. Our dinner for two with one glass of wine was 130 euros. That is a little steep. The food was good. The next day... More

The quality of this restaurant is exactly what you would expect from the most exclusive hotel in Chenonceaux. I had the good fortune to dine there on a number of occasions, mostly at somebody else's expense. For mere mortals it is a dining experience for very special occasions as it is expensive, but worth every penny. The food is creative, beautifully... More

My husband and I had lunch at this restaurant today and chose the set menu. We were not offered canapés with our drinks but noticed that other diners received these. The Amuse Bouche of a mushroom veloute was delicious and we awaited our 3 courses with great anticipation. Our starter of vegetable veloute was bland and cooled rapidly with the... More

The Bon Laboureur is our most favorite restaurant for miles around. The food is excellent and there are always delicious surprises throughout the meal. The presentation of the food is so beautiful, the service is just what one excepts from a restaurant of that class, helpful, friendly but not over powering. When ever we have a special occasion The Bon... More
