Normal food nice place

The restaurant is nice inside with a lovely decoration and nice staff. The food is average, not too good, not too bad. For the price the food could be a little better.

Suggested by hotel receptionist on arrival on a Sunday evening when not much else was open. Just across road from hotel, so went and found a quite pleasant place to eat. A mixture of French, Mexican and American foods. Had 3 courses from the French selection with wine and coffee for €43.

We popped into this convenient restaurant on a rainy night and were pleasantly surprised with the Southwestern u.s. Decor. The food was ok, but dessert was worth the visit. The owner's mother was the cook for the creamy creme bruille - the best I had in Europe.

The reviews are not bad, but overall we were disappointed. It feels like the menu is trying to combine too many cuisines into single dishes, with weird combinations of Indian / Mexican / Thai, but without any dominant flavour or redeeming spice. Starters were by far the best, the wine and cocktails were good but I'd give the main courses... More

We booked this restaurant because (a) not many places are open in Chartres on a Sunday evening, and (b) you can book online which is useful if your French isn't up to scratch.. My starter was Guacamole which was pretty good. Oddly creamy but you can't go too far wrong. But the main course, oh my word! I ordered what... More

I ordered a tartar of salmon, but I wasn't aware of what it exactly was... So I was glad to not have ordered the beef version 'cause I wouldn't stand having raw meat... Well As that eas my only experience there I can't say more... The restaurant is nice, the bathroom is clean and the view is fantastic

'Second Honeymooners' First about the food, then about their decent approach to pricing. Nice atmosphere. Could easily be in USA or Canada with their friendly, casual atmosphere. Veal chops, 3 for $12.90 was juicy, not at all chewy, melt in your mouth delicious. Exactly what one hears about the superb quality of Parisienne cuisine! We chose patates frites and these... More

My husband and I ate here because it was very convenient to our hotel and the kindly, English speaking manager said our wait would only be 30 minutes. Most of the restaurants here were full due to the Illumination Event. He was true to his word and even helped us order. We both chose salads. They were meal size, with... More

Ate here one night out of three that we were in Chartres and enjoyed a really tasty meal of fajitas. Manager was welcoming and helpful. Wait staff were busy and it felt a little like we were less favoured because we didn't speak French, but not rude, just less attentive. Seemed to have a better atmosphere later in the evening...
