We got the last room--Henri IV

The Henri IV suite was not to be missed. It is decorated in a way that is entirely unique and very comfortable, giving an overall air of opulence and ease, both at the same time. Nice staff, good choice of dishes and good food. Near cathedral, so ideal for a quick lunch when sightseeing. Starter + main course €15.

I arrived in Chartres around 2.00pm by which time many restaurants had stopped serving. Heading towards the cathedral in the rain I paused outside the Caves during Paris and was offered help. I asked if I could have lunch and as a result had just what I was looking for. Excellent.

We enjoyed an outdoor table looking at the Cathedral of Notre Dame in Chartres. We had two boards of mixed meats and fish with bread...very good and a great location.

It is a very nice place, right beside tha Cathedral with good food, nicd service, clean toilet and wonderful live music in the basement. The place is unique with stone walls and cozy decór. The apperitf was good accompanied with finger food and a creamy souce, the bread was fresh and crunchy. The ratatouille, which is served cold, was tastefull... More

Sunday night in Chartres is difficult to find a restaurant open! This was and we had a simple but tasty 3 course meal for 18 Euros. It was packed with men and women on a tour enjoying the a la carte menu.

We ate here for lunch on friday. The meals were very tasteful, the lasagna was delicious. If you can, take the 'meal of the day': cheap for what you get. The personnel isn't friendly at all, that is the only remark. But the view on the cathedral is wonderful :)

This restaurant was conveniently located near the cathedral. It was a rainy, dreary day when we arrived and I was suffering from a cold and cough. I was embarrassed about the cough and covered my mouth with a tissue. When it became worse I went to the restroom so as not to distract the other diners. I just had the... More

Le Parvis deserves a higher rating on Trip Advisor that it has currently achieved. We enjoyed our dinner and drinks with the Cloitre surrounding the Cathedral and lapped up the atmosphere. The menu is original and the pork main course was new to us which added to the experience. The staff were attentive and when I mentioned that I was... More

Good spot opposite the Cathedral, menu had some possibility so we thought to give it a try. Stood by the entrance waiting to be seated. couple of waiters busily bustled by to deliver food or return plates. No help so went inside and asked for a table. Young man seated us and that was the end of the service. Woman... More
