Our second time in a Leon - may just apply for the loyalty card !

We've eaten at a Leon before in Reims and sort of knew what to expect. The greeter was a bit dour and was more interested in if we had a reservation (so she could cross it off her list?) than if we wanted to actually sit down. The (very) young waiter spoke no English at all which was surprising... read more

This restaurant is close to many of the newer hotels outside of Bourges. Easy to get a table but not so easy to get what you ordered! Wine took ages to arrive even after asking for it agin. There didn't seem to be enough staff to wait on tables. The food was okay and filled a hole. Not sure I... More

We were staying at the Ibis Styles nearby and they gave us a discount voucher so we walked over when the restaurant opened. It was a lovely evening so we sat outside and as we were some of the first people there the service was good. As the place filled up the service went downhill so if you go when... More

One of a chain of restaurants specializing in mussels, which were very good, several choices of preparation and large portions, reasonably priced. Service was slow, inattentive and non-accommodating. We ate here because it was one of only two convenient restaurants next to our hotel. Would not eat here again by choice.

We didn't arrive at this restaurant till 21:45 having been delayed on our way down through France. We were just glad that they were still serving and would have been grateful for anything to be fair. The main offering seems to be Moules in various sauces. The restaurant was busy but the service was fast. We had moules frites followed... More

We arrived around 19.00 the usual time for Brits to eat when traveling in France and the place was about 30% full - we were joined by French travelers and locals around 20.00 and the place was 75% full - not bad for a Sunday evening in February! Menu specialities are largely around mussels which, after 7 hours driving took... More

This is a restaurant chain and the first one we have come across. Although there is plenty to choose from on the menu, they serve Moules Frites in dozens of ways. On Sunday evening, you can eat as much of this dish as you want, but at any other time it's only the Fries that are 'a volonte'. They also... More

Halfway back up France staying overnight at Ace Hotel. Evening meal at Leon de Bruxelles, very quick service, good food but not outstanding, excellent staff, by 8 o'clock it was literally full with people queuing to get in. Not a place to go for a romantic evening, but great for a quick meal. Reasonable price. The mussel dishes are excellent.
