Stopped enroute to the south of France for hols. The food was very good. And very arty how it was all bought out. I did feel that the staff weren't very attentive, and could have explained things a little better. It was a treat as rather expensive, but a good way to start a holiday.

A One-Star restaurant, with a quiet dining room and expert service. Food is beautifully presented, and delicious. Outstanding regional wine list. We arrived as they opened at 7:30pm, and the restaurant was filled an hour later. Reservations are a "must". Excellent restaurant, Strongly recommended.

Recommended to us by people who live here in Bourges. We were immediately seated on a Thursday night in June. I don't have the vocabulary to list specifics, but our multi course meal was comprised of appetizers, lamb, various palate ticklers, selection of cheeses and desserts. Service was courteous, waiter spoke English, and dinner was unhurried, as we expected. I... More

On a very wet and windy night in Bourges, two very bedraggled English tourists fell through the door of this wonderful restaurant to be warmly welcomed by a very pleasant young man and although we didn't have a reservation we were offered a table immediately. Dispensed of our wet coats and umbrellas we sat down relieved to have found a... More

I found this restaurant is border line to keep a Micheling star. I guess Michelin is a bit indulgent with French restaurant, as it is not in other countries. Anyhow, very nice place, good and simple table setting, good atmosphere. Food is average, very well presented but not particularly astonishing as expected. Aestetic is not well represented by the quality... More

This is a great one star Michelin restaurant. Great atmosphere, great service and exceptional food. David who is in charge of the service complements his genius brother Stephane who is the chef. Ordering the discovery menu is recommended and let David handle the selection of wines. Just sit back and enjoy...thank you, Stephane and David, for a wonderful and memorable... More

Having visited other Michelin star restaurants the experience was good but expensive in comparison. The food was tasty and well presented but the use of plastic, i.e. plastic eggshells, seemed out of place. Service was very good the staff very attentive. Overall a very good evening .

The D'antan Sancerrois is an excellent dining experience. We took the Decouverte Menu with 7 meals. The meals are wonders for the taste buds but also for the eyes. The wines we took with the menu were perfectly associated with the dishes and came from excellent winemakers. I will definitely go back to !!!

This was the perfect place for a romantic dinner. The ambience was refined and relaxing without being sedate or stuffy, and the food was delicious, inventive and imaginatively presented without being quirky or pretentious. The service was impeccable and informative, vigilant without being obtrusive or fussy. We left with that 'inner glow', feeling that the relatively high price was richly... More

Having booked for 7.30pm, we seemed to arrive with the F-o-H staff, who were quickly attentive, in a very comfortable multi-level dining room . The 68 euro Menu Saveurs was exceptional, with lots of tasty additions and a real spirit of fun in the inspired presentation. Both the Pave de Fois Gras and the Tartare de Bar et Torteau were...
