Clean, tasty, reasonably priced.

Decent indian food without wowing you. Nice for a change from the average local fare dished up around Blois. It's not overly spicy although you can certainly request they give the chilli and curry levels a nudge for you. Clean, tasty, reasonably priced.

We love Indian food and were rather disappointed by the watery sauces. The chicken was not cooked through. Ambiance not great - bright white LED lights; waiter shouting to the kitchen from the restaurant, music almost inaudible. Not cheap either. I would not choose to eat here again.

We ate here for our son's birthday. If you are used to Indian food then you will be disappointed, the French are not in to spicy food so it is all toned down. The restaurant is run by a Pakistani family, they are very friendly and attentive. The menu is aimed at the French palate but there are a few... More

Myself and a friend were travelling across France doing the Loire Velo which is fantastic! Our travels took us through Blois. Having looked on Tripadvisor before arriving Le Madras had good reviews so thought we would try. After completing around a 60 mile journey that day we were both ready for some good food...this is where it went horribly wrong.... More

Me and my wife had dinner here. Make sure you come early or reserve, because it is one Of the best options in Blois and as a result, And given its size, it can get packed easily. Food is well made and attention is excellent. Seems like an indian family runs it, but not sure, with pink walls reminding of... More

Le Madras is a little bit off from the main tourist streets in Blois, so it was not busy when we, a family of five, ate there in late June 2012. The kids wanted Indian and we were pleasantly surprised by the excellent quality of the food. We started with the entree (appetizer) sampler, which was almost enough for a... More

I went because I've been visiting the area with my mother and step-father - she's English, he's French. I can't fault the place for the location, as it's very central, or the decor, which is nicely done and just the right size to be busy without everyone being on each other's laps or too big to seem empty. The ladies... More

Good quality food at affordable prices. The fish starter was delicious.
