A restaurant attached to a hotel. We were booked in here by our bike tour company, even though we were staying at another hotel 10 minutes away (I think they are linked). Light and airy and the staff attentive. Sea themed decor Local produce is served including fish from the Loire. Lots of choice and an interesting wine list.

Perhaps not the best moment to lunch at Le Monarque hotel restaurant, during the "17th Rendez-vous de L'Histoire, Blois"; but since I was in Blois for this event, there was little alternative. The restaurant is centrally located , pleasantly furnished and luminous, and the reception perfectly pleasant; we had taken the trouble to book and this was necessary, due to... More

The "double saveurs" menu is absolutely worth trying. Very good value for money, decent wine list at very fair prices. Staff is friendly and the restaurants nicely decorated.

Great hotel restaurant. Straightforward but stylish food served with pleasant efficiency. Some unusual combinations - such as onion tart with seafood - that work well. Good traditional French staples too like decent steak cooked "saignant".

We booked a table, we turned up on time, there was no atmosphere and we were ignored after 20mins we got up and walked out.

We went there due to the Michelin Guide recommendation and chose to ignore the bad recommendations here on this site. It was very disappointing. Too greasy too little taste and worse than the cheapest brasseries we have visited in France. In addition the service was unfriendly and unwelcoming. It is really strange that this restaurant can have a guide Michelin... More

Our hotel, which is nice, recommended that we go here. Things sounded tempting on the menu. However all three of us were seriously disappointed in what was served. My salmon, which was OK, was served with a tough, flavorless potato waffle and a dollop of soggy julienne vegetables. My friend's steak was adequate, though a bit tough, and served with... More

The food here was poor, the selection was poor, the service was slow, the entry way overpowers you with the smell of cloying incense, and the space is uninteresting. There are many better places to eat - there have to be!

We stayed here two nights...our room is composed by two bedrooms; the bathroom is well equipped and it's clean. The bed is confortable. The girl that works at the reception is very kind and helpful. The restaurant is excellent: the staff is qualified; the menu is translated in foreign languages, if you need a translation; the wine list is very... More

We were staying here overnight and realised the food must be good since the restaurant was packed. We both had the set menu which was very reasonable as were the carafes of house wine. I believe you could probably have had goats cheese for each course if you wanted! There were two of us, we started with a goats cheese... More
