Very nice and improved

We dined here a few years ago. The food this time was very good and they had english speaking waitress. This helped. The food quality was good and the speed was good. It is very bistro like and that is also what they advertise. They do not accept AMEX which is a pity. I would go there again... read more

It is very bistro like and that is also what they advertise. They do not accept AMEX which is a pity. I would go there again without doubt.

Available 7 days, very good food, excellent dessert - profiteroles and choclat to die for! Been operating for many years and understand why - well patronised by French, both local and visitors. Recommended. Very close to Holiday Inn, and really, not worth walking further!

We were staying at the Holiday Inn down the street and just didn't feel like walking into the historic area one night so we came here. And what a treat it was. Our waiter Tony was everything you want in a waiter; helpful, friendly, and efficient. My wife had the chicken breast special, which she enjoyed. I started with the... More

a standard french bistro with big prices, not bad by any means but there are a number of much better places for similar money withing walking distance, poive et sel has better food better wine and better service for less money and la creusille over the bridge is in a totally different class for the same sort of price.

We had a great experience with friends. The french onion soup is the absolute best we have ever had, entrees were excellent, desserts outstanding. The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive. We could not have had a better experience in a bustling restaurant, which is obviously popular with locals too.

This dinner spot was chosen by our tour director and what a great choice. We had a set menu with several choices for entree, main course and dessert. The choices were great and the food was yummy. They somehow were able to serve all 41 of us efficiently and in a timely manner. The onion soup was fantastic and the... More

The food was fine, but the service was truly awful. Not a smile in sight, the waitress visibly put off by my Italian companion struggling gamely to speak in French. Topped off by short-changing us when we paid; then royally cheesed off when she literally slapped the one euro coin on the counter. Not a word of excuse or saying... More

Excellent food and service. A weekend away with my sister, who is not easy to cater for but we had dinner here on the Friday night and then returned again on the Saturday night for seconds. The lamb was excellent. We didnt do the set menu's but if you do opt for one of the set menu options make sure... More

Looks inspiring from the outside. Good cuisine, better than your average bistro.
