Booked a table for lunch as advised and arrived to find the restaurant empty. Rather disappointed we decided that the set lunch menu would be the safest choice. At 17.50 euros it turned out to be excellent with imaginative dishes well presented and bursting with flavour. The restaurant filled up and the ambiance was much improved. Local wine was very... Interesting menu outside, good atmosphere inside and creative dishes, very nice personnel, good wines and reasonable price. We had a very good lunch in this tiny place, and also enjoyed talking to our neighbours

We mapped out our walk to Le Castelet in Blois due to the great review on Trip Advisor. Sadly when we got there the restaurant was dark. We entered a little shop next door and in broken English were told that Le Castelet is closed on Wed nights! The shopkeeper recommended Les Banquettes Rouge and we headed down the street.... More

It is a very typical french cusine restaurant. The plates are small but tasty.. Not my favourite but a good choise..

Fine food, fresh, good quality, excellent service for a good price. In the city center of Blois in the "chateau"-region.

Great food in a cozy restaurant with friendly staff. My wife especially liked her main course of calves liver.

Thanks to my husband to bring me to one of his favorite restaurant in Blois, I almost doubted his choice at first glance the tinny restaurant from outside. It was a full house Thursday night and we arrived late (for Blois, 9pm should be accounted as late, I guess) we took the last table left. As I know little French... More

This tiny restaurant in a narrow street below the castle produced a fabulous meal for our last night in the Loire. The stuffed quail was absolutely memorable. Price was very fair

A group of four had a fixed price menu lunch there recently during a bike trip in the Loire valley. The meal was very well prepared, presented and the overall experience was excellant. Very good value also. Reservations are recommended as it seems to be very popular with locals. It is quite small and does not have outdoor seating but... More

These were the outstanding meals of our three weeks in France. So good that we stayed over an extra day just to eat there again. An exciting modern expression of earthy French flavours and traditional ingredients. Best to make a reservation as the small room fills quickly.
