Fun restaurant with good food

We were a group of seven and we all loved the meal and experience. The waitress was funny, informative and very helpful. We tried some fizzy wine with 6 tasters of syrups because we couldn't make up our minds what to have. It was a fun start to the meal. We had the set menu and all the food was... read more

My wife and I recently had lunch at Au Coin D'Table. We both opted for the rabbit dish. While the rabbit itself was ok, the associated vegetables were way overcooked and were rather mushy. Service was fine. I am not sure I would return to this place.

Recommended by a family eating there the previous evening we thought this may be a hidden gem. Alas it was not. The lady who appeared to be the proprietor was friendly enough but the other two waitresses looked miserable. Starters were o k but nothing exceptional ( chèvre thin as commented by another reviewer ). Plates were chipped. Both had... More

Swift and friendly service. We ordered tartine de chèvre and sallad for starters. Tasty, but the slices of chèvre were very thin. Found a small spider in my sallad. The main dish was "the butcher's choice". Excellent tender steaks however the side dish (tagliatelle with pesto) was cold.

Nice basic food experience. Nothing fancy here, I guess the best comparison would be US diner food. We enjoyed a restaurant that I guess the locals would patronize. We all enjoyed a pork cutlet dinner. I liked the sauce but my companions found it too rich. The local wines and dessert berries were delicious.

We ate here in April 2015. It was quite an unfortunate experience. It started off when we order the aperitif de la maison. At other restaurants, ordering the house aperitif gets us an interesting cocktail that we might not have known to order. At Au Coin D'Table, it got us a strange concoction with -- I kid you not --... It has a great location with a summer street terrace and (sometimes) live music. A fairly wide range of dishes, of which I had the misfortune to order fish and chips, both of "frozen" origin. Good homemade dessert and local wines available. Not tempted to return except perhaps for a drink and snack in the sun.

At the end of July 2014, we were in Blois with friends, we checked out this bistro because it has quite good review here. We were 6 persons and none of us found this restaurant anything better than the university cafeteria. Lousy food, very old fashioned decoration. The waitresses were polite but too busy to take care of every customer.... More
