stumbled across this place after a disastrous booking at The Mecure Hotel. Nice food, pleasant service and very accommodating after arriving late in the evening- all 9 of us!

We went here a couple of times, i always enjoy the atmosphere. The owners are very nice, the kitty also. I like a lot the design of the place. The food is simple but fresh and typically french. It's a nice place to go with friends and family , but don't expect anything fancy

In a country where so many bistros (sadly) serve microwaved meals, it's refreshing to find a small restaurant with honest home-cooking. We were warmly welcomed in from the rain to a room full of locals. Our server happily let me try few different wines before choosing one. The memu at 15 Euros represented great value. Plates were simple but tasty,... More

On a rainy Sunday in Blois, we stumbled across this restaurant for shelter and weren't disappointed. The food was very good (but not excellent)- although the value was excellent at 15euro for 3 courses. All the food was homemade and had a freshness to it (home made chips and desserts highly recommended). The service and atmosphere was what made this... More

we arrived for lunch on Sunday at this unusual little restaurant - filled with books and memorabilia. It was quite empty one minute, then people just piled in and it was soon full with lots of atmosphere - I think lots of locals come here. Food is simple but tasted wonderful and reasonably priced. Service was quick considering the number... More

This restaurant was suggested to us by our hotel, and judging by the Trip Advisor reviews, it seemed like a safe bet for dinner. While our waitress was pleasant, our meals were very bland, poorly cooked and of low quality. Our kids ended up leaving half their meals uneaten. Not a great experience, and as the previous reviewer indicated, disappointing... More

Disappointing is the minimum I can state about this experience, one rare occasion where the advise of TripAdvisor did not get into its expectation. Food and wine terrible. No taste, very badly made, just a chaotic mix of some ingredients without really being cooked as they should, wine also very bad, served in glasses completely inappropriate... The only things ok... Ate here on a one night stopover. Arrived close to opening time, and despite not having a reservation, we were given a table inside - it was a wet evening so outside was not really an option. Within 15 minutes the place was full to capacity. The staff were hard worked to meet demand, but we enjoyed a leisurely dinner... More

In no way does it live up to the hype on here, the food (we had the cheapest set menu) is slightly better than average and portions are good, the house wine was good for the price but otherwise the whole experience is just ok. Terrace eating is on plastic chairs in the street!

Good value table d'hôte and à la carte, with food very acceptable for the price. Staff kindly moved us inside from the drizzle when room permitted. Quirky menu in red phone box outside, and in children's books inside. Decent wine list and good atmosphete inside and out. A saviour on a damp Sunday night. Many others closed.
