Noisy kitchen

I'll start with the negative and get it out of the way! Our table was next to the serving hatch, the chef had the radio playing, and it created an ambience not conducive with the price of the meal nor their Michelin rating! Having said that the food was very good, and the waiting staff... read more

While walking on a narrow Street, we came across this magnificent restaurant! The word that comes to my mind is "supreme art" of the French cuisine! A place not to miss while in Blois.

A bit hard to find, this restaurant is situated on a small street. The place is a French dream with a cosy athmosphere and very welcoming staff. I was treated like a guest that had been there ten times, but it was my first time there. The dishes are amazing and I would especially mention the delicious bread. The sweets... More

I was there with 2 Chinese friends and let them discover a really good cuisine: inventive and well equilibrate A nice "amuse bouche" as pre-starter, a variation on zucchini for starter, a "carrelet" for fish in a very delicate way "a la grenobloise" which I hadn't experienced yet; elegant desserts and a plate of after desserts! We were all more... More

The restaurant is in the old part of Blois. It's an old fish market, and very charming. The waiters were friendly, amusing, and spoke good English. There were 3 prix fixe menus, and we chose the middle priced one - 4 courses. The food and service were excellent. I'd go there again in a minute.

Having read the reviews we decided to book an evening meal for my birthday. We were not disappointed! The quality of the food and the service were excellent. e particularly enjoyed our starter which was courgette flowers 3 ways.....apparently their speciality and I can see why! The other courses were equally stunning. Also the service given by the two waiters... More

The menu descriptions do no justice to the quality of the food here. All dishes were exceptional and in our view the restaurant deserves a Michelin star. Our table was by the hatch and no radio was playing so note has obviously been taken of previous comments

Elegant and refined cuisine based on local products: wonderful fish and astonishing appetizers! We did not forget to try the deserts: it was the final fireworks!! Everything was paired with splendid wines from the Loire Valley. If you travel to the Loire Valley castles (Chambord, Blois, Amboise, Cheverny…): this so typical place is a must that you will not forget.... More

Ate here twice during our recent stay in Blois. Excellent both times. The first time my wife and I both has the 37 Euro Prix Fixe menu. Wonderful foie gras based amuse bouche to start followed by a carrot flan appetizer (name does not do it justice) which was divine. The main course was a poached (sous vide) salmon with... More
