Ate here twice during our recent stay in Blois. Excellent both times. The first time my wife and I both has the 37 Euro Prix Fixe menu. Wonderful foie gras based amuse bouche to start followed by a carrot flan appetizer (name does not do it justice) which was divine. The main course was a poached (sous vide) salmon with... More

The menu of the day is just perfect! A great place and not to expensive! The best place in Blois, not just because of the food but the service is also great!

IT is a nice French bistro restaurant with gastro food. A lot of dishes atound fish but not only, rabbit, bloodsausage, every classical French dishes are well done BUT it is overpriced .I lived in New York, and Paris..even there it would be 20% cheaper.

We had a wonderful dinner at this unpretentious restaurant in July 2013. It deserves its Michelin star. The restaurant is small, charming and welcoming. I had the local stuffed Pike. Good atmosphere. Expensive, but worth it.

We booked this restaurant for dinner after being recommended by our chateau concierge. Of course, knowing that this is a one star Michelin restaurant, we set high expectations for it. What dissapointment! We understand that a Michelin starred restaurant has to deliver some creativity but in this case, they result of their creativity is really debatable... Also, the place itself... Having recently read about this restaurant we were pleased when one Saturday we stumbled across it while visiting the excellent market in Blois. We were made very welcome including our dog. Decided on their daily plat de jour, main course and dessert but included a little pot of salmon pate and a langoustine appetiser which were both sublime. The main... More

Lunch for 2 with a half bottle of modest wine, 149 euros. Food was mostly very good, but I second another reviewer who found a fish main dish confounding when it's accompanying "vegetable" was mostly pot roast! Maybe this was the chef's surf & turf? The room is small, plain and I didn't think one star level. Service was attentive... More

Chef Christophe Cosme has created an establishment that evokes what you have always imagined to be the "classic, casual, French eatery", with friendly service and a true sense of a convivial, intimate dining experience. As the restaurant name would suggest, the emphasis here is on local fish, but there are other seasonal offerings to tempt one's palate. There is much... More

Au Rendez-Vous des Pêcheurs specializes in local sea food. Be prepared to spend the whole evening and about $100 per person for the prix fixe menu, without wine, for an extraordinary gourmet experience that delivers more than you expected at every turn. The service is warm and attentive and the food is truly memorable with unusual food pairings such as... More

Expensive and somewhat weird food - for example a very nice piece of local river fish served with beef sauce / gravy and a concoction of potted beef instead of any vegetables or a starch. Does nt at all live up to the hype
