Nice place to dine!

We went here because of the positive Trip advisor reviews. The server was very friendly and explained the menu to us in English. We ordered a pork shop, some kind of white fish, beef tartar, and 3 kinds of cheeses. The food was nicely presented and fresh. The pork chop was really tender. The fish... read more

Found this place by chance, looking for a parking spot! Located on the 'wrong' bank of the Loire, opposite the chateau. The place was packed at lunch (good sign). It is half specialist wine bar, half restaurant. House smoked salmon, casserole of frogs legs - doesn't get more French than that - braised Guinea fowl, rich with poultry flavour and... More

If you like your food really 'French' then you need to give this a try. It's just over the bridge in 'vienne' Blois & worth the little extra walk. Very nice.

Excellent lunch in a bistrot/wine bar atmosphere. Friendly and professional service. Good choice of food and excellent wine list (you can also buy wine from the wine shop/bar). There are few parking places right in front of the restaurant, otherwise you can also park on the other side of the river which is closer to the castle/city center. The restaurant... More

We stumbled across this restaurant when we walked over the bridge to get a photo of the river with the old town in the background. The service, food and location were all excellent. I had the set menu, which was a delicious goats cheese salad, followed by pork chops with ratatouille and then a chocolate mousse. It was all delicious.... More

Right next door to our hotel. The reviews promised family friendly and it didn't let us down. Excellent food at a reasonable price. Went there the second night as well!

As it's on other side of the Loire to the old town of Blois we wouldn't have visited it if we hadn't used Trip Advisor. It's right next to the bridge so easy to find. Owner delighted to explain the parts of the menu we didn't fully understand and we had a really good meal in this minimalist restaurant. The... More

This unassuming brasserie features an interesting French cuisine revisited by a Japanese Chef who picks fresh products coming from the daily market. Yes, nothing more or less than that! It has and a nice selection of local wines. Decor is minimal in this local joint where locals gather around the bar at lunch time for a glass of wine as... More

Visited in May 2013. Food great, staff helpful and happy to explain menu items. Bistro-style dining, but with beautifully presented and delicious food rather than that of a run-of the mill establishment. As this was the last night of our holiday none of us wanted a huge meal, so only two courses from the a la carte. We did appreciate... More

Stayed overnight in Blois, and found this restaurant on tripadvisor. Glad we ate here, the staff were very helpful and explained some of the menu that we didn't understand. The meal when it came was very nice, as was the wine, and not expensive. Nice views of the river Loire as well.
