I went to this restaurant with my wife and 7 year old daughter while on holiday. We chose it based on tripadvisor reviews having first tried to get into Le Castellet but is was full. We were seated on the terrace and as there were thundery showers around the manager took time to move the table and chairs so they... More

Being a bit unadventurous about what I eat I was anxious about Lyonnsaise cuisine. I found, however, that the menu offered a good choice of exciting and varied dishes. Well worth a visit.

The price of the menu was quite reasonable (3 courses for ~22 euros) and the portions were generous, especially the starter and the dessert. The food was good, but nothing particularly special, except the dessert which in our opinion was fantastic: try the tarte Tatin or the crumble with pears and apples!

We found it by chance! But the food was excellent the service impeccable and a very nice atmosphere. The meats are very well prepare, and the house wine is very good (quality vs price) Overall we had a great experience, good value for money; We paid 75€ for the two of us, and we had the foi gras to share,... We happened on the restaurant when visiting Blois in the early evening on a Saturday. The owner was very welcoming. The unpretentious three-course menu at 22 euros included a lot of traditional choices, although quite a few had small supplements of 3 or 4 euros. The food could have been "just fine" and we would have been happy. As it... More

We went here based on the reviews and were not disappointed. A typical French restaurant nestling in the shelter of the chateau and very central. Good tasty food. We chose from the 'menu' at 22 euros (3 courses). Portions were ample and there was a good choice for each course. I had the mushrooms and snails, the beef and an... More

The place looks pretty and charming, however the food was a disaster. My mother had Coq-au-Vin for her main course and it was obviously microwaved and very chewy. I had a cod dish which was nothing special, but also found a large piece of plastic wrap in my vegetables. When I complained, I got a "bizarre" from the waiter, but... More

This is the kind of food you come to France to eat. Nothing excessively fancy - traditional dishes perfectly cooked. But contrary to the experience of a recent reviewer, we found the service some of the best we've ever experienced - calm, unobtrusive, observant and prompt. No special efforts were made to make friends with us, but who needs that?... More

Food was very good here - especially the St.Jaques. As others have already noticed, service was quite offhand(ish) (though I wouldn't say rude or anything of the kind) which kind of spoilt the experience. But because of the food I would really recommend this place.
