Brilliant service and excellent small menu but be prepared to pay for the considerable pleasure! In pretty flower lined narrow road. Ideally walk but, if driving, park by the river and walk up Rue du Pont

Cheese selection was extraordinary. Lobster with potatoes exceptional and a superb salmon entree. Queue fish plat could be improved. Definitely the best in the area.

Sat outside the restaurant, above a small river running underneath you, we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Le Petit Bateau. The owners speak good English and helped us translate their delicious menu. We both enjoyed all of our 4 courses and they had a good selection of Loire wines. The cheese board is fabulous. Very good meal.

We ate dinner here on a weekend trip to the Loire Valley. It was recommended by a friend with local connections and by the hotel. It is indeed a lovely and very refined dining experience. The menu reflected the seasonal produce and was exquisitely presented. Portions are not hearty so you will definitely be able to sample three courses including... More

Unfortunately I did not enjoy my evening in this restaurant. On arrival I noticed that no radiators were switched on and the temperature was approximately 10C, cool for April 2014. When I asked the hostess to switch on the heat, she replied that it would take too long for the heating to have effect as it came from the far... More

The quality of the food was o.k., but some dishes did taste a little bland. We would have loved a more intensive taste. The price for a 3 course meal was quite expensive for the area. Wines were priced o.k. and of good quality. We were sitting outside on a warm summer evening, the service was attentive, so all in... More

A lovely surprise to find such a charming restaurant in a town the size of Beaugency. The food was creative with clever combinations. As with all good restaurants there was a small menu, a sure sign your dinner has been freshly cooked. A special mention should go to the waitress who was tres jolie.

We discovered this little restaurant on trip advisor and we cannot but confirm the positive comments! The young staff is super friendly, and English is spoken. We received good advice on the dishes and the wines, and we did not have to wait to be served. Apart from the superb meal,We also appreciated the decorating and the nice music.Afterwards, the young... A 90 minute delay in our travels was no problem on a Saturday night as we were welcomed at 9-00pm and served with attention and friendliness. The menu is varied and imaginative and the presentation was creative. My seven year old son was thrilled with his "Menu Enfant" selection: a steak (apparently the restaurant's flagship dish) which was extraordinarily good... More
