I really enjoyed my meal at Le Credence. The atmosphere is very cosy and relaxed. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food was very very good. It was very tasty and very enjoyable. The menu was a bit limited though. There were three options for starter, mains and dessert. We were one of the last tables to give... More

La Credence was recommended by our hotel and was just down the street, very convenient. The room was crowded with interesting things to look at, and with happy diners! Service was helpful and attentive. Mom had roast pork, and I had an "éclair" of hake in butter sauce - both were delicious, as were our crème brulee and chocolate mousse... More

On a Wednesday evening in October, we found that many restaurants were closed in the town, including our first and second choices. It was raining very heavily and so we stepped inside La Credence since it was nearby. The food and service were good, although not so special that we would return. The menu was displayed on a small blackboard... More

We loved this restaurant. The couple who run it - he does the tables while the lady does the cooking - do a fantastic job with fabulous food and outstanding service at modest prices. We'd go back for sure.

We had a very nice meal here at a good price. €20 for an entree and main or a main and dessert. Limited menu, but the food was really good, however the service is a bit slow as there is only one server. We were prepared for this based on reviews we had read though. Worth a visit as it... More

We arrived to this restaurant by accident after we visited the castle there. The restaurant is located next to a restaurant that has a Michelin star, but the food we ate was not less than this level. Simply the best meal I ever ate. We arrived at 14:00 and the restaurant serves a reduced lunch menu included an appetizer +... More

We arrived in the village late in the evening and most places were no longer serving food. We sat out the back in the very quiet garden and thought that the food and wine should have been much better for the price. It would have been much more fun to have eaten in one of the cafes with tables on... More

Best gazpacho ever and partner loved the eclair stuffed with hake and beurre blanc. Sophisticated yet not snobby. Only place in azay worth going to . Memorably fab.

We had a lovely lunch in the garden. The menu is short but all choices were very good. The service is quick and professional. The atmosphere is posh. It is worth a visit.

We were so pleased we chose to eat here. The manager (owner?) is a very cool man in glasses who will help you with your French if you make the effort! The restaurant itself is quirky and cosy & very thoughtfully decorated in coordinated accessories and art work. Service was initially quick but slowed down once it got a bit... More
