Went here for lunch after a morning of exploring the Chateau Amboise. What a pleasant place. We ate outside on the patio and enjoyed people watching while we ate lunch. The food (and dessert) was very good and reasonably priced. Definitely a nice, convenient, and local place to visit while in Amboise.

This chocolate shop is wonderful. Pastries are beautiful. Macarons were delicious. Cookies (butter with cinnamon) were great. We went back the following day for breakfast and ate omelettes outside looking at the busy, pedestrian street. It was so fun! We were also treated to a little bit of history about the Bigot family and their business (which celebrated its 100th... More

went there on a cold day and sat next to a well vented fireplace. it's a candy shop/restaurant right in front of the castle. candies/desert are very good. wine and restaurant food are not quite as excellent. decor is lovely. i'd go back.

I visited here every year with my family as a child. We would detour on our way to the south of France just to come to this patisserie. I have found memories. My father was in love with amboise and the patisseries. Every year we would sit and talk to the family. And have our photo taken with them and... More

My wife and I had just finished our visit to Clos Luce and it was 2:30PM. Per normal, particularly in November all the restaurants had closed for the afternoon after the lunch hour. We found this Patisserie open and are glad we did. They served from a nice menu in a warm (fireplace) dining area with friendly service. My wife... More

We were in Amboise during our one-year celebration of our marriage. This sweet restaurant caught our sight and we went inside to have a quick-snack but we stayed for at least one hour. Good service and good food. The omelette is delicious, as is anything you could order. And the cookies, ah, the cookies ... mouth-watering and also a delight... More

The best macaroons in France. Lovely stop for brunch/tea very close to Chateau Amboise and in a lovely touristy lane.

What a selection of pastries and candy made there. The chocolate is smooth and not to be missed, nor the eclairs, or the omelettes for breakfast. Did I mention the pain au chocolat? The croissant? The confiture? Sublime. A lovely place for breakfast, for tea, for one piece of chocolate (ha!) to give one stamina to continue shopping or sightseeing.

A very delightful lady gave us a "tour" of the numerous pastries and explained each one in great detail. Our group of 6 returned each day to enjoy the many options. Their chocolates are wonderful too!
