We chose to eat here as we were staying at the hotel in the same courtyard, though they're not related as such. A reservation seems to be essential; we ate on a Thursday night and the place was packed (that may have been compounded by the fact that the weather wasn't great and no-one was eating on the terrace). We... More

This restaurant specializes in grilled meat. The quality is ok but the price is high relative to the quality. The wine list is lengthy and the bottles eye-wateringly expensive. The house wine is pretty poor for the price

My husband found this restaurant on tripadvisor. Booked a table for 2 and had a wonderful meal. I had what I think was one of the best flame grilled steak cooked to perfection - med/ rare and my husband had the ribs, enjoyed too. Great wine list hard to not splurge a bit...would recommend on all counts

Finding somewhere that's open on a Sunday that's reviewed narrows the choice and we opted for Le Sauvage as a consequence. It was busy and mainly occupied by French diners; a good sign. The waiter was programmed always to be amusing even when he wasn't, but then this isn't a Michelin starred place. The menu ticked all the boxes but... More

We took our friends here for lunch. We hadn't been to Le Sauvage in several years, but Tripadvisor reviews were encouraging. We weren't disappointed. Fabulous. Okay, here's why: 1. Fantastic service. Friendly and attentive. Greeted by not only the waitstaff but the chefs. 2. The atmosphere with the big grill going was warm and inviting, 3. THE FOOD. Our friends... More

First point - MAKE A RESERVATION. You can chance it by showing up at the door when they open but as soon as they run out of free tables that's it. The atmosphere is right on target. You can walk in off the street by the aroma of the grill firing up but inside is where it puts you right... More

Amazing grill/restaurant! Nice selection of meats for grilling, I had the pork filet mignon w/mushroom risotto & dijon mustard..simply delectable! My friend had the beef tournedos w/ morels, sweet potato mash & pepper sauce...he loved it! The place has a cozy & rustic feeling with the grill being a show piece, service was delightful & efficient, prices were very reasonable.... More

We had a great night here last Thursday. Good amount of outdoor seating so we managed to get a table at 7:30 (early I know). By the time we left it was packed, around 9 or 930. We started out with some kir, dry / cheap white wine with cassis liquor (about 3 € ea/) and came with some little... More
