we were recommended this restaurant by a nearby bar owner, (L'assommoir tome 11), if we wanted a really good French meal, we were not disappointed, a little bit formal, but good polite staff, very polite and informative, a great wine list, anything from cheap carafe wine to some great Burgundy over 600 euro's a bottle!, a lovely old building, the... It served unpretentious traditional food at a reasonable price. We chose meat dishes - the bavette steak was tasty although a little tough.

I have the same the all the time and really wish I could get something different. But I just can't , and feel as if I'm cheating if I dare have something else. It's 15th-century relais de poste (coaching inn) with cobbled, vine-shaded courtyard...... This place reminds me of Lord of the RINGS! (The Prancing Pony my friends and I... More

Had a great dinner last weekend at Le Sauvage. The atmosphere is relaxed and warm, with very good service, careful presentation of the dishes and yet not pretentious. The selection from the grill is mouthwatering and really good value for money. Many locals were filling the room, which is usually a positive sign. Would definitely recommend it!

We choose the because it was a sunday in august, and all other better rated restaurants were closed. On the positive: It's a nice location with a good terasse overlooking a courtyard. The interior was also very cosy and romantic. to be improved: Very expensive wines, and when you ask a recommedation, the show the most expensive one I received... More

A very good quality grill in a quiet courtyard. Good service and a big wine list to suit every pocket. We were a party of four and all were well satisfied. Good service. Would recommend.

We chose to eat here as we were staying at the hotel in the same courtyard, though they're not related as such. A reservation seems to be essential; we ate on a Thursday night and the place was packed (that may have been compounded by the fact that the weather wasn't great and no-one was eating on the terrace). We... More

This restaurant specializes in grilled meat. The quality is ok but the price is high relative to the quality. The wine list is lengthy and the bottles eye-wateringly expensive. The house wine is pretty poor for the price
