Spent 7 hours driving to eat here, well worth it

We drove down from Paris (and back) for a holiday lunch and would do it again in a heartbeat. We took the top menu for the table (4 of us) which is the chef's surprise. One of us had shellfish allergies and her plates were modified but nevertheless delicious. The emphasis is on local specialties... read more

Great Meal. On our last trip to Dijon we tried to book a table at the Chapeau Rouge but it was fully booked, this time we booked in advance....and it was worth it. Fantastic meal very good service, the sommelier proposed some of the regional wines to go with the meal, just excellence. They offered a nice selection of chefs... More

This is an unashamedly up-market restaurant. There is a choice of two tasting menus, a fixed four course menu, which at 80 Euros represents the cheapest option, and a carte. Opting for one of the 125 Euro tasting menus, I started with some perfect amuse bouche, focussing on local produce. Excellent bread appeared next followed by 8 courses. First came... More

Never been to a two-star Michelin restaurant before and this was coincidentally in our hotel, so we took the chance to have lunch there on a quiet Saturday. Very professional staff with a good eye for details to keep the guests happy and privately as possible. The menu was great with a various amouse-bouches between the courses. A great experience... Excellent service, very good food. You will eat typical French and local meals with new and fine taste. Because it is a gastronomic restaurant prices are high. The diner room is a little bit dark.

Fabulous tasting meal. William took traditional Burgundy meals and gave them a 21st century twist without losing never losing sight of tradition. Everything we had was ethically sourced organic from small producers, or carefully selected organic from specialist producers ouside Burgundy. This chef knows what he is doing!!

Having dinner here is like participating in a perfectly executed dance. The service was impeccable, the food was delicious. Overall was a wonderful dining experience. We had the discovery tasting menu at only 80 euro each and a bottle of wine.
