Been there couple of weeks ago. French kitchen, the way they used to do it in the 90ies, way too much, overloaded with flavours, no discreet elegance. Crement was very nice, wine wasn't that great (compared to other places I had wine in Dijon). Service was impeccable. Design of the Restaurant is atrocious. Sad, because I was expecting a lot.

Loved everything about this restaurant - the food was really top notch, and the staff extremely attentive. Our 10 year old daughter had a starter and a cheese plate which worked for her! Presentation all you would expect from a restaurant at this level and the Foie Gras was to die for. All in all, probably the best food in... More

We were on a canal cruise and this stop was our chef's night off. (Although our good fortune was he came with our group to dinner here.) The food was creatively plated and presented. The space was interesting. However...the food was rather bland. My husband and I had different items and neither of us were impressed. The food prepared by... More

Paying EUR 150 per person for the food part of our dinner was about 33% too much. The amuses were amply but rather tasteless. The sauce accompanying the cote de veâu and the chanterelles were both terribly salty, double dosed. The worst part was the soufflé which was tasting eggy and not airy at all as it should be, so... The food and service were excellent. We started with a tomato and gazpacho surprise. The upper serving was a tastily prepared tomato. Hidden in a bowl beneath the tomato plate was the gazpacho - anything but traditional. The entrees were a fish and meat and were outstandingly prepared. The service was gracious. We're in the camp that says the restaurant well... More

Typical of European tastes, the decor is very interesting modern. But ambiance is unimportant because the food and service are divine. Fois gras that melts in your mouth. Pigeon with blackberry fab. The assortment of cheese overwhelming and finally over the top chocolate dessert. Everyone loved their meal. Highly recommend.

The food and service were worthy of one Michelin star but perhaps not two. The room was lacking atmosphere and was strangely empty on a Tuesday for lunch. The food ranged from brilliant to not quite there. Overall a bit expensive. If you went there not knowing of the two stars you would be blown away. But with expectations raised... More

One expects perfection at a 2 star Michelin Restaurant and that is not what we got here when they served me with a partially cooked "carabinero" prawn, which I only noticed after I had eaten half of it. Apologetic they were for sure but at the end of the meal I was seriously unimpressed when they asked me to pay... More

When you reserve at a Michelin 2-star restaurant, it's fair to expect an unforgettable experience in terms of not only the menu and the food preparation but also the decor and service. Our lunch at Wm. Franchot, which lasted three hours, completely fulfilled our expectations but leaves me scratching my head as to how this could only be the #2... More

Where to start? A word of advice, book the restaurant when you book the hotel. We arrived on the Saturday afternoon and there were several guests booking in who were disappointed to discover the restaurant was fully booked. Given the quality I suspect this would be the case every time. Moving on. The dining area is tastefully decorated and the... More
