This is a top class restaurant and the ambience is absolutely amazing, and not too pretentious with overwhelming service. You are left to take time over your choices and over the courses. The food was wonderful in taste and presentation. Absolutely magnifique.

I was looking for a good restaurant to celebrate the beginning of a week in the Dijon area with a small group of friends. However, many places are closed on Monday night, like in Italy. We were glad to find out that La Dame was open and we had a wonderful evening. The setting is a medieval underground luminous "lair".... More

Visited this lovely restaurant in 2011 and I can highly recommend it! The Boeuf Bourguignon is yummy and the wine list extensive! Make sure you walk home as you will need to digest all the gorgeous food! A must when vising Dijon!

We searched for a good restaurant that was open on a Monday in Dijon. We found this one, yes only one, on the internet. What a gem! The setting in a lovely crypt, mercifully cool on a very hot day. The service was friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. The food was very, very good indeed. We had the mushroom... More

Another excellent classic Bourgignon restaurant - nothing to complain about. Great aperitif & amuse bouche of creamed parsnip. Then foie gras, mushroom consommé & pike quenelle. Waiter recommended a local wine for the foie gras instead of Sauternes - I think it was called Chambre d'Amour - it was great! Mains of an amazing slow / low temperature cooked piglet... More

We went on a holiday Monday and it was only 70% full hence we could get a reservation 2 hours prior to dinner. The service was friendly and professional, but the food was very very average and I did not like the decoration either. Seems like they are trying to do too much with the white colour and newish decoration... More

Used Lonely Planet to come up with a list of best restaurants in Dijon and this one came in second. The place was swank with formal dining decor warm ambiance -- and we thought we were under dressed when the waiter told us otherwise. We were the first diners to arrive (6pm) -- which is early for dinner -- but... More

The restaurant does impress you when you walk into this great vaulted room. The service was excellent as you would expect from a ‘top end restaurant’ (apart from me having to ask for some water to go with my ricard). The food was well presented and tasty, just think they could have made a bit more of the sauces. The... More

I guess it's disappointing that the best course you are served is the cheese cart. Amuse were poor in flavor and in presentation. I had the langoustines that were served with a frozen leek puree that didn't have the best mouth feel. Veal roulade stuffed with sausage and covered with seared foie was tasty, but the foie must have been... More
