Good find

It's a great environment in the vault, with a good choice of menus and really welcoming staff, who try very hard to please. The wine list is well priced and offers a great selection. The food was beautifully presented and very tasty. Worth a visit.

This restaurant is very good in the middle of Dijon. The cave atmosphere is fantastics and very friendly stafff. The quality of food is very good with a gourmet menu of food and fantastic menu of wine with fair prices.

On the first night of our vacation, we like to have a nice dinner. That, La Dame did provide, in the form of a good tournedos Rossini and a nice enough "rable de lapin". Had we not taken a dessert, the food and the nice bottle of Burgundy would have been a very good Holiday starter. But take dessert we... More

From the street, you walk through a covered driveway into a small courtyard. You then descend into the former cave which has been converted into an impressive dining room with vaulted ceilings lit up to accentuate the stonework which is magnificently redone. Very atmospheric! We recommend that you start with a kir cocktail as it was invented here and then... More

Monday nights can be difficult to find restaurants open. We were amongst the earliest to arrive, and were amazed that the restaurant was eventually all but full. While there were only two service staff, they did manage to keep up, and were very attentive. We started with what we thought was terrine but it turned out to be a wonderful... More

One descends a steep staircase to find oneself in a vaulted basement. Let me state straight aways that La Dame satisfies the criteria of ambiance, service and food. We had an excellent time here and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Recommended.

a nice setting and not bad food but service was disappointing and too costly for what really happened there.

We really enjoyed the food at La Dame d'Aquitaine. I can honestly say the food was first class and delicious and service was impeccable. The decor was a bit "over the top" for our taste as we prefer a simpler ambiance, but all in all it was an excellent experience and we would certainly return.

We stopped here for dinner on our way through Dijon in January - a family of four with two teenagers. Arriving early made us the first arrivals for evening service, so we were a little intimidated by the rather imposing crypt-like room. However, we need not have worried as the friendly staff soon put us at our ease and the... More

We were on our way to Germany and needed to stop in Dijon, and I looked up to find a great place in the city to eat. It was out last meal in France and we wanted it to be great. It was spectacular! First, the service is outstanding. Our waiter suggested a fantastic wine from the region and was... More
