Super romantic

We stayed at an AirBnb a few doors down, and walked by this restaurant daily during our visit in Dijon. After seeing an article in a local magazine, we decided to try it. The menu is a little different--you pay a base of 29€ (the operating cost), and whatever you order is the cost of just the... read more

I was surprised hen I saw the menu of this restaurant. Real traditional French food at very low prices. At first I was weary but once in the dining room and served I was taken back by the simplicity and quality of the food for such a low price. France is expensive when eating out but this was a real... Beautiful food, both in taste and presentation. An extensive and reasonably priced wine list. Friendly and leisurely service. Would heartily recommend.

This was probably my favorite restaurant on a trip to burgundy (a trip during which I went to a lot of very good restaurants). The atmosphere was great and unique (an old crypt), the food was delicious and reasonably priced, and the service was great. I wish I could remember the waiter's name (he was a Portuguese gentleman and I... More

A group of 6 of us had dinner recently. Beautiful restaurant in basement of old church annex building. High arch ceiling and good food and service to complement except bottle of white wine was oxidised and sommelier failed to detect it! The red wine as beautiful though. Pity..and we should have rejected white wine but we were too nice!

The service was dreadfully slow and the food was below average for the prices being charged. This was our worse dining experience of our 10 day holiday. When we complained about the speed of service we were greeted with nothing more than a shrug of the shoulders. Nice setting shame about the food, service and attitude! Also, don't think dogs... My first real visit to Dijon included a fine dining experience, and I was not disappointed. The food was great, the wine recommendation excellent; the location and ambience truly amazing (12th century crypt). The one outstanding thing was the service; could not be faulted. Will definitely go back!

Very nice place in the middle of Dijon. Exquisite food but not too fast members of the staff. Pay attention to menu list, don t order specials.

we randomly discovered this wonderful restaurant nearby the gingerbread shop mulot et petitjean..entering down stairs into a crypt of the church where the monks stored their wine, was quite a surprise. we were attracted by the cheap prices and had sat down and started to drink when the waiter carefully explained that the cost was 29 euro each and then...
