2 Michelin stars-Here we come!

Our top meal on our latest dining trip to France-we have been doing this since 1971. So we have hundreds of dining experiences to compare to-everything from many 3 star bastions of excess to bib gourmands trying to move up the ladder. This place-long a solid one star-has the smell of a place... read more

This Michelin starred restaurant is quite formal, lovely with a promising menu. The trio of amuse bouche at the start wasn't overly wow, but we enjoyed the veloute served before the main. The rack of lamb was quite good though on the medium side (which was okay for me), the pigeon was tasty but again was a tad overcooked (medium,... More

Perhaps too classic in many aspects, this restaurant however obviously tries very hard. Attentive staff, white table clothes, creative and high level cuisine. I t wasn't the best grastronomical meal ever but; in Dijon, for a special moment, why not?

Excellent and welcoming service, not stuffy or pretentious at all. A lovely meal. An enormous veal chop was thoroughly satisfying.

We were staying in Dijon and our apartment building was just a few steps away from this restaurant. The restaurant was packed every time we walked by and I can understand why. We stopped to make dinner reservations one day but sadly they were booked up for the next couple of nights so we decided to have a late lunch.... More

Exceptional location in front of the Palais des Ducs de Bourgogne, in the historic heart of the city, and friendly welcome. Father and son together for a gastronomic, highly tasty, both classical and creative food (1 star Michelin), based on first choice local products. Impressive wine list (Burgundy in pole position) with a sharp sommelier. Le Pré aux clercs is... More

We pre-booked a table at this restaurant as we were told it is one of the best in Dijon, known for only using local ingredients for an authentic Burgundy taste experience. My wife noticed that the cutlery is well used, a good sign, according to her ! We started with their well-known snails in wine sauce, although we love the... More

I arrived from Zurich feeling tired and very hungry. This restaurant is guaranteed to lift the spirits. The lunch menu was reasonably priced (32 euros) and the food and service excellent. Entrée was a haddock salad with saffron, main a magret de canard, a great dessert of strawberries all accompanied by local Villages wines. And there was no difficulty with... More
