Great restaurant in Dijon

We had booked a table at this restaurant before we went to Dijon for Easter. It was our first time in Burgundy and we are so glad we went there for dinner on Easter Saturday. Unfortunately, we couldn't get a taxi to take us there from our hotel for ages, but Mme Derbord was very helpful when we... read more

The food is exceptionally good, the staff is attentive and very professional, the prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is calm and they do have the most expansive range of Armagnac that I have ever seen (from 1945)! Book a table, prepare to spend some hours, there is just one seating and people arrive at 8 and leave some time after... More

We tried many Michelin-star restaurants, but this one was the best by far! Everything was perfect, from the amouse-bouche to desert. Their foie-gras was perfect, meat perfectly cooked with black truffles on top. Their cheese selection is unbelievably good! We chose a menu that cost about 65 euros per person including entrees, plat, cheese and desert. The wines were a... More

Very good in general. Pleasant surrounds. Although feels a bit like a British Michelin star 10 years ago: all abstract decor, rectangular plates and sniffy clientele. Nevertheless the food was very good, though not faultless. The foie starter was sublime. The langoustine main was a little insubstantial. The beef jus, likely a reduction of cheaper cuts, was delicious and intense,... More

Our family spends several weeks per year eating around Europe. We generally follow the recommendations of the Michelin Guide Rouge sticking frequently to the two and three star locations particularly for dinner. We especially enjoyed our evening at Stephane Derbord. The food and service were very fine but not the least bit stuffy. One in our party suffers from vegetarianitis... More

We had the surprise lunch today. Three courses for 28 eu. The food was absolutely faultless only problem was took more than fifteen mins to be served water or see a wine list. After asking twice we were told the waiters were to busy. It was a very small room and we were beginning to feel perhaps we were not... More

Elegant, top-end restaurant with service and decor to match. Food was delicious with several "freebies" offered during the a la carte meal that we chose. (One of them wasn't very nice.... a warm beef tartare with an oyster foam/sorbet - horrid and I noticed many people wee not finishing it!). However, overall a really good experience in a lovely restaurant.

My girlfriend and i wanted to have an excellent lunch for our last night in Dijon, and the recommendations for Stephane Derbord is (as you can see) excellent. This restaurant should be considered the number 1 in Dijon. It is located near the city center, 10 to 15 walking minutes. Its decoration is elegant and harmonious. The food (and its presentation) is excellent. My husband and I had dinner there (reservation recommended). We chose the menu Country Cooking and Creation (53 euros not including drinks). We started with... More

My hubby and I drove five hours from Brussels to Dijon. After parking our car at the Mecure Hotel, we walked to the restaurant. It's a bit out of the way from the town center, however it is a pleasant tour. It was Easter Friday and the restaurant was full house. Wine Selection is huge as we could tell from... More
