I went here with my mum two nights ago and were at first not expecting much from the description on the menu of the dishes. When they came out they were perfectly portioned and had a great balance of flavour. Also a plentiful wine menu, with many beautiful local wines. Super nice waitress, english speaking and all at a fantastic... More

Thanks to Tripadvisor we chose this small and cosy restaurant to have lunch and the food was so good that we ordered more than previously planned.

Wonderful little restaurant with great service always seeking to please, and several menu choices with great alternatives. Of course, the cuisine of Burgundy is among the best anywhere else. The escargots, burger of charolais, and wine were terrific. Inexpensive for what you get!

Le Bacchus features three menus at reasonable prices, but frankly they are not especially interesting and the food is mostly ok without reaching any great heights. An entree of chopped snails and mushrooms with butter was interesting, but the mains were underwhelming and the entrecote was not a great quality piece of meat. A dessert based on french toast with... More

Very friendly staff who went out of her way to make sure one of our party was happy with her meal when she noticed she was not enjoying her meal. Food was delicious , well presented and good value for money. Would recommend highly for food and friendliness.

We were referred here by a competing restaurant as they were full and we were not disappointed. There were 4 of us and a table was available so were seated immediately. There was a great selection of wines and the owner was very helpful with all aspects of the meal. The meal was great, both entrees and mains, and everything... More

Well located in old city, this is a cosy restaurant with a delightful hostess, delicious local Burgundian dishes and a local wine list. Our favourite was the beef burgundy and the strawberry tart was delicious too. The price tag was good value.

Checking out the TA reviews, this restaurant was listed as #5 in all of Beaune, so we were definitely expecting more. It appears to be a husband (chef) wife ( front of house) team and she who is very pleasant and speaks English. The restaurant is typically small, which we like. We started with a carpaccio of scallops, which was... More

A delightfully friendly restaurant where the food is excellent, the chicken was succulent with a very tasty sauce and the creme brûlée was served with flaming sugar. Can't wait to return for the next course

We arrived at Bacchus (thanks to Tripadvisor actually) early by French standards for dinner and therefore at exactly the right time before it quickly filled up. This tiny restaurant serves excellent good and wine and seats around 24 people by my count. We paid €85 for a three course meal for two with a lovely bottle of local white wine... More
