Excellent bistro style food with top class wines

Return visits to this Beaune gem confirm that good value "bistro" meals can still be found in this gourmet city. A plentiful chicken liver fresh salad with not a wilting leaf in sight demonstrated the freshness of dishes here. The pigeon main course allowed a quality product to shine on the plate... read more

We were recommended to Ma Cuisine by a Dutch friend who knows his food and wine - and what a good recommendation it was ! The food and wine's great as it is in most of the dining places in Beaune but this is way more relaxed and friendly than the norm, just what we needed on an overnight stay... More

Renowned for their classic snails, but they also have a good menu along with daily specials. Traditional cooking. The service was friendly.

This family team really knows how to deliver, the best service the best wine list, the best food and wow, the happiest customers! You must make a reservation well in advance as it is small and has a well known reputation for excellence!

On a night when most restaurants in the Beaune town centre were void of customers, Ma cuisine was packed with what looked like local people. Very reasonable menu De Jour and a wide range of menu items to fit all tastes. This is a husband and wife run establishment plus the Chef. Food was upscale bistro nicely presented and served.... This was the high point of our trip as far as food and wine. Went back a second time two days later for another lunch. Wine list is amazing and they offer some older vintages by the glass. Food was uniformly excellent. Very friendly and reasonably priced. The owners are on hand and very helpful. I asked for a Sauterne... More

Recommended by Trip Advisor, this little restaurant did not disappoint. Four tired travelers enjoyed classics typical of Burgundy, served in a friendly yet relaxed atmosphere. There is little English spoken here, but the waitress seemed to be used to that. A quiet, two hour dinner beautifully presented was just what we needed to complete a busy day. Excellent food, great... More

The food was good, but the waiter (owner) was very rude. You would expect to be treated like this maybe in Paris, but not Beaune. We all agreed that the rudeness of the waiter ruined the meal for us. A local that we spoke to about it agreed with us.

Ma Cuisine was recommended to us by an author who wrote a book about Burgundy, and this was perhaps our favorite meal in Burgundy. The restaurant features classic Burgundy dishes like escargot, beef bourgogne, foie gras, roast meats, and cheese of the region like Epoisses. The place is small and you should definitely make a reservation. Service is very personal,... More

This really is a wonderful restaurant - unfussy and unpretentious, concentrating on food, wine and service to great effect. The scrambled eggs and truffle are a house speciality and simply superb, whilst the sweetbreads for main course were perfectly cooked. Any wine list that has 2 pages of d'Yquem going back to 1894 is serious and some of the wines... More
