Should be #1

I have no idea why Ma Cuisine isn;t the favourite Beaune city restaurant for many. It is superb - the service, food and wine list is killer. It never fails to impress. Well done!

My wife and I visited Ma Cusine in February, it was an amazing experience. The restaurant is really good with a giant wine menu. The price was more than we are used to pay, but the food was delicious. We paid 103 euros for 2 starters, 2 entrees, one desert and one half bootle of wine. The starter was something!... More

The food was delightfully delicious, and what I think of as truly Burgundian cuisine. Especially the Oeuf en Muerrette (I think. Probably spelt incorrectly). And the lovely earners put up with our distinct lack of French in an amused but still hospitable fashion. Delicious food, reasonable prices, and a bit of French charm. What more can you want. We went... More

Immense ambience. No vacant table. Impressive wine list from which we took Cecile Tremblay than as digestive the one and only Mr. Lelouvier 40+ years Hors d'age. The food was meticulously prepared and served and we felt in heaven. All of it came for no less (or more) than €120 for 2. Recommended.

This was our first meal in our Burgundian France adventure. It set the bar very high for everywhere else. The service was impeccable, wine suggestions were perfect with our food, the food was exceptional. We tried many of the Burgundian specialties and we were all delighted. We were a group of 7, with 5 teenagers and 2 adults. At the... More

We had a great time here; French classics galore - I had the oeufs meurette and the pintade which were spectacularly good. A half bottle of 08 Barthod Beaux Bruns was closed up pretty tight but of course that's not their fault. A good list but with the world-wide repute I was expecting a little bit more in terms of... My recent annual visit to Beaune must include meal here so lunch for 6 early this week. Being rushed for time in between domaine visits, we settled for foie gras terrine and pigeon main. Very consistent with previous tastings...smooth silky terrine with duck flavour. Pigeon was moist and meaty breast. Would have preferred medium well rather than pink... All washed... More

We had known about Ma Cuisine and were looking forward to an amazing evening here. We arrived and were shown to our table in the back of the restaurant. The owners, a couple, are the greeters and the wait staff by themselves. That evening the restaurant was set up for a large group of about 30 people at the front... More

We ate in this restaurant quite a few years ago and remembered that they had a great wine list, so we decided to try it again. The food is regional, family style meals, prepared with what was in season. The escargot are made the old fashioned way. But oh the wine list. There are wines for every budget, from fairly... More

Had some great dishes here: rabbit compot with cornichons and toast. Pigeon with some spice(anis maybe) and jus and a lovely burned almond tart. And some fantastic wines from a big big wine list with all the burgundy producers you want at a decent price. Will return in easter 2016. Thumbs up
