Classic French food, well executed, very good service, lovely Chablis!

This is a very nice classic restaurant. I guess it is not the most innovative but it is good food and very good service. Spacious rooms so you don't feel cramped, no noisy music, very professional waiters, quick and effective as they should be. Nice menu with more than enough options, lovely... read more

This is a very nice classic restaurant. I guess it is not the most innovative but it is good food and very good service. Spacious rooms so you don't feel cramped, no noisy music, very professional waiters, quick and effective as they should be. Nice menu with more than enough options, lovely Burgundy wines and not expensive.

This restaurant was recommended by the hotel concierge and I am so glad that she did! Charming dinning room and wonderful dinner. We had escargot the way it should be: Just enough garlic and parsley to be flavorful without masking the rich earthiness of the snail. The duck Margret was perfectly cooked as was the pork and lamb chops. The... More

Lots of great options for dinner on this little street around the corner from Hotel Dieu, but this little gem was elegant, peaceful (though it has thee dining rooms), with professional and helpful staff, a broad menu, and with excellent and reasonably priced regional wines. Menu included both classic and experimental items. An unrushed yet exciting evening, with solid value... More

The seating was in 3 separate rooms and each room had a view of the street. Each room had a different ambience. Decor was smart with fresh clean style.

This is a very nice, modern restaurant with top notch food and wine. It is about the same price for a meal as other much less nice restaurants. I'd recommend this to anyone.

As Beaune can be a bit pricey, we chose this as it had a 23 euro set menu and looked a smart place. The interior is painted an elegant pale grey and there are interesting artworks. My meal was salmon cru, coq au vin, finishing with a pear in red wine. All properly prepared and very nicely presented. With an... More

The food was delicious and attractively served. For a reasonable price we were able to order meals that included an appetizer and dessert in addition to the main course.

Serving all the classics like escargot and coq au vin, the food is fine but nothing elevated. The restaurant and presentations are a little more upscale than a bistro but the food is nothing more than pleasantly satisfactory.

We stumbled on this restaurant for our last evening in Beaune and glad we did. It rained during the day so the patio wasn't open. We ate inside in one of the warm dining rooms. Other reviewers commented on the unfriendly wait staff but we had a positive experience and felt well taken care of. The wine list was varied... More

After being recommended by the Madame at hotel de Beaune to eat at this restaurant we were quite confident that we would have a nice meal. But we had a great meal. We had the 23 euro formula. It was 3 generous courses. The food was delicious. The beef bourgionon was meltingly tender and the creme brûlée was amazing. The... More
