Came here as part of a group wine tour of the area when we were lucky to eat in several great restaurants in the area of which this was one which we would definitely recommend.

In a town where many seem tempted to cut corners and increase prices, this restaurant delivers reasonably priced wines, excelent food and discrete, attentive service.

This is a very nice restaurant of which the highlight was the food. A very nice wine list and each course led you through a journey through burgundy. This experience was one of the main food highlights of Beaune and is worth a visit! Reservations are a must.

We had beef bourguignon and it was very, very good, and reasonably priced. We called a day ahead for a reservation heading the advice in our guidebook, but when we arrived at 7pm we were among the first customers for the evening. It was almost full by the time we left. Looking at other reviews, getting there 'early' probably helped... More

We enjoyed a very good dinner here, in an atmospheric setting. The jambon persille starter was good, as was the chicken in cream sauce and sole meunière special. We also enjoyed the cheese tray, and a nice bottle of wine. They were very accomodating when a train strike delayed our arrival in town, allowing us to push our reservation back... More

This restaurant was close to our hotel so I researched on Tripadvisor. I think some of the other reviewers nailed it. We made a reservation late afternoon and were happy they had a table. Upon our arrival it was explained that there was a mistake. They seated us at a bar table upstairs. Dissapointed not seated in the cave. Oh... More

We got recommended this restaurant from our B&B host who of the list of a few places she gave, said Caveau des Arches is the place she and her husband eat when they get the chance for a special occasion. I can see why. As other reviews have said the staff are very busy and if you come early without... More

I do not normally rate a restaurant excellent as there is generally room for improvement but.......From the minute you walk downstairs into the "cave" like restaurant and are greeted by the warm and friendly staff, you have a feeling it is not going to disappoint. The staff spoke better English than our French so that put us at ease. They... More

We had two different menus, and mine consisted of snails, beef burgundy and cheese. It was truly excellent. The best snails ever! My boyfriend had salmon and lamb, which were uninspired, but nice. The dessert, creme brulee, was superb! Service a bit slow. Try the beef burgundy and the snails here!

Really enjoyed our meal in this characterful restaurant. Not the cheapest meal you can eat in Beaune but well worth the culinary experience.
