A popular place with locals, the restaurant was soon full on a Wednesday evening. We sat where we could watch our food being cooked - one chef, one assistant - and very much enjoyed the result. The service was friendly, but a little haphazard, and little English was understood.Traditional French cuisine at a reasonable price.

We arrived here on a Thursday night and it proved to be a popular choice with at least 20 people dining. A very good recommendation for travellers new to traditional French cuisine. From entree to dessert, every mouthful is a fascinating experience. After reading the reviews, we reserved a table for dinner. It was a warm June night and it was too hot to eat inside with the wood burning stove, so we had a table on the street which was cooler. Tete de veau, joue de porc, boudin, cheese plate - all tasty and well-presented. Relaxed atmosphere. Not over-priced. Definite recommendation.

Food is freshly cooked and of the region... nothing special but well done... decor is a little tired and could be better.... A good family meal but not for a special occasion... staff very friendly and overall fairly good value for money,

I'm getting a little tired of restaurants in France where minimal cooking is done. Meat put on a grill, some (frozen) fries and some salad. Perhaps a sauce if you're lucky.
