We weren't disappointed after following recommendations on TA to try out this place. The food is very good, which is the most important consideration. However, the waitress, who is married to the chef, was not a natural hostess.

We went her after seeing the very positive reviews on Tripadvisor, and not one thing in the dining experience disappointed. a contemporary setting, but not without charm, a very amiable staff and attentive service. We never had to let them know we were ready for the next course. The food was expertly cooked- an expected thing at a restaurant in... More

Been a few times & its always lovely and the lady who runs it makes you feel very welcome. I've been with family (plus babies) and on a girly night too! I've never eaten from the main menu but the cheese trolley is to DIE for! and the selection of rillettes are amazing too!

I had duck breast served on a slice of butternut squash with a chocolate sauce, fig and plumb. Interesting and well presented, but not classic French cuisine. My wife described it as sort of Heston Blumenthal-esque. Certainly a good standard of cooking, but not mainstream. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant had a good buzz.

If you are looking for a cheesy piece of pizza, move along!.... After walking the ramparts of Saint Malo, we decided we should look for some place to eat. This town is full of crepe and pizza take away, not our thing. We found the elegant and impeccable Le Cambusier and enjoyed a very relaxing afternoon dining on fresh, clean... More

Sat outside this restaurant to have the homard blue thermidor. I am a huge fan of thermidor and could not believe the tough lobster (not soft) and no thermidor sauce of note, very scanty. I'm sorry I chose this dish, friendly service to note but St Malo can be hit or miss. Expected better.

Excellent restaurant, epitome of fine French Cuisine. The oysters were amazing, the beef was even better and the cigar flavour ice cream was delicious! 10/10
