Just wanted a coffee and piece of cake....

Then I read the menu! Ended up having the Bergére (sp?) salad. It was outstanding! It looked amazing and tasted as good, if not better than it looked. Then I ordered the rhubarb and strawberry tart. Oh my goodness was it good! The presentation of everything they did for me was immaculate. Customer... read more

Service was superb as was the food! They have a wide selection of both savory crepes and sweet crepes. We waited until our last day in St Malo to try their desserts-- BIG MISTAKE! Their St Vincent cake (signature dish) looks like a rich cheesecake (heavy) BUT was so light and delicious I wish I had more days to spend... More

The staff were pleasant and helpful even with a line of people waiting. Very professional. The food was delicious, fresh and presented beautifully. Also, lovely teas.

My wife and I try and visit this wonderful place most months when we come to St Malo, this time with friends. The ladies had cappuccino while the men had hot chocolate and a regular coffee. Then the piece de resistance Gateau, raspberry gateaux decorated with crispy pancake slices and cream with a sprig of mint, and a superb slice... More

We had lunch after a walk around the walls of old St.-Malo. The galettes (main course crêpes) were excellent. My wife had one with scallops which was particularly nice. We finished off with a couple of crêpes for desert which made a nice, not too heavy lunch. The wine prices seemed a little steep, so we had our first experience... More

We recently ate at Bergamote three times in 4 days, and it would have been every day had we not crossed to Dinard for Sunday lunch. This is an exceptional salon de thé, with delicious, beautifully presented food, and delightful staff. Our galettes were the best we’ve ever eaten so it will be a hard act to follow when we’re... Quaint little cafe diagonally from the entrance to the Cathedral! Very discreet façade easily missed! Ideal spot for a full meal or brief rest while having tea, coffee, and ESPECIALLY DESSERT !!! You must try the " TARTE BIGOUDAINE ! Savor this chef-d'oeuvre slowly, you will think you died and went straight to heaven!!! Service is impeccable too!! You will... More
