Thanks to Tripadvisor we found this restaurant only 100m from our hotel - the TA site located it and we are so glad. Entree of seafood mix was excellent as were the mains of duck and fish of the day - all beautifully presented and delicious. Combined with a bottle of Chardonnay - just rounded off a perfect meal for... More

We stumbled across this little bistro in the middle of St. Malo'. The restaurant is family run and we had a great waitress that took good care of us. She was absolutely brilliant. We ordered starter and main both of which were great. The waitress brought us some amuse-bouche which we were not expecting (some charcuterie and cheese) and we... More

This wonderful little restaurant was top of our list for a return visit and, even after a year, it did not disappoint. The food on both our visits was memorable, well-cooked and reasonably priced. The chef/owner and his staff were charming and great fun. The mixed grill that I had and my wife's duck were brilliant on our first visit,... More

The starters of sardine and crab were wonderful, and fish and duck mains were excellent too. The staff are very accommodating to children and gave one of my sons the menu enfant adjusted so that he could have mussels. The food is good value - my father eats out a lot in London and could not believe the price as... More

Went for a wonderful meal last night with friends. Slightly away from the tourist area this place ticks all the boxes, great service, great food and the waiter was attentive. The fish dishes were delicious and can be recommended.

There are many restaurants to choose from within the walls of St Malo, but we picked this one because it looked less touristy than many others. It is fairly small and in warmer weather there is a couple of outside tables. As the name suggests the menu is focussed on meat, and whether you prefer red or white meat the... More

After trying the restaurants along the main road inside the Intramuros, we looked at Trip Advisor for a local foodery, and this came out tops. It literally was a 3 minute walk from our hotel. When we arrived it was already busy with only two tables left. We were ask if we'd booked, which we hadn't, but were shown efficiently... More

We decided to visit on the strength of their tripadvisor reviews, and glad we did. It was just warm enough to sit outside for an aperitif, generously served with some lovely cured meats. The food was simple, the meat perfectly cooked, my duck was wonderfully pink but well rested, a sign of someone who knows what he's doing. The garnish... More
