We had a very helpful, handsome and friendly waiter who nicely corrected our wine choice. My entree of goats cheese in pastry was great but the lamb in my main was tough. Such a shame because everything else here was just right. By the time we left the place had filled up - all locals which made for good people... More

If you want a fantastic meal in Saint-Malo, step away from the tourist restaurants on the square, and walk to the La P'tite Rotisserie. We had an excellent, freshly prepared lunch here. The waitress was helpful, got our children's meals going immediately, and brought us wine right away. My children loved their perfectly cooked and beautifully presented meals (who knew... More

We have just eaten at this delightful little restaurant in St Malo. The waiter was very attentive and spoke perfect English, which made up for my schoolboy French. The food was excellent and the suggested wine a perfect accompaniment to the meal. All-in-all, first class.

Found this little gem after walking around lovely St. Malo. It is only a small restaurant and very busy. We were served our drinks quite quickly but did have to wait for the food because it is all cooked fresh. We both had mixed grills which was steak, lamb chops, chicken, very beautifully cooked and presented. More expensive than we... More

Only 2 young waiters serving but they were excellent, friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Food excellent. Good value for money. Would definitely recommend and will go again when next in St Malo. The Bistrot St Jean need to learn some customer care from these guys.

A tiny, but very welcoming restaurant on rue de la Corne de Cerf which serves a very interesting menu and excellent wine (so my husband tells me!). We shared a mixture of locally caught fish, and couscous, and it was absolutely delicious. Only poor thing about this restaurant is that the tables for two are tiny and very cramped -... More

I can highly recommend this restaurant. The food is excellent and always cooked fresh, even the kids rave about their food and love the presentation. The service is excellent and always with a smile. We always return to this restaurant as the food is so good and most of all the lady who runs it is so nice and always... More

Had a great meal here with our two kids aged 10 and 13 - the service was excellent and the food quality brilliant…kids menu was not like a kids menu with fresh meat and fish available as well as superb puddings…cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough and will return on our next visit to St Malo - many thanks!

Thanks to Tripadvisor we found this restaurant only 100m from our hotel - the TA site located it and we are so glad. Entree of seafood mix was excellent as were the mains of duck and fish of the day - all beautifully presented and delicious. Combined with a bottle of Chardonnay - just rounded off a perfect meal for... More
