Two euro for butter!

Our tour group was taken here for dinner across the street from our hotel. We were seated just inside the front door. The menu included, to quote "the best sausage of Brittany." We had two meals here during a three night stay in St Malo which says it all really! Friendly and attentive staff, good atmosphere and the service was very good even though they were very busy. We enjoyed all the food very much and the profiteroles were in our view the best ever tasted!!

My wife and I went to La Table d’Henri in connection with a Globus tour. Aside from its location near the beach in Saint-Malo and near our hotel, it is not a place we ever would have chosen. The restaurant itself had no personality and looked very boring, sterile. As we were there with a tour, we had a very... More

Following other reviews and hotel recommendation we visited this restuarant last night. Maybe we went on an off day, but I have to say nothing about it was good. A gale had been blowing for a while, so perhaps they had become overloaded with diners. However, it was just short of an hour before our food arrived, one plate of... More

I am really suprissed with negative opinions about this place because I ate there many times with my fiancee and all dishes were very tasty and fresh. It was hard to find free table to sit. I think number of guests is measure of quality of kitchen and stuff. Disadvantage of this place is lack of english version of menu.

We went to this restaurant because it looks appealingly "old style" and you can enjoy the view of the sea, even if you aren't given a table right next to the window, which we weren't. We were overwhelmed by the wonderful meal we were served; the Saint Pierre was divine: in fact everything we had fulfilled our expectations. And we... More

We went on a Friday night and hadn't reserved a table as it was fairly early, but the place was heaving. However, we were offered the choice of 3 tables and chose one not far from the window. The service was excellent, although we did have to ask twice for the bill. The Casoulette St Jacques was very tasty but... More

I have had a quick glance at previous reviews but thought it better to stick to saying what we agreed we’d say when contemplating at various points during our meal last night (July 7 ’14) at La Table d’Henri. We (couple, widely travelled and dined) and son (just pre-teen, also familiar with different menus) had a window table booked….by far... More

My wife and I chose this restaurant because it was very close to our hotel and it was about to rain (which it did whilst we were eating!!!). What a good choice. We had a marvellous meal well served by good waiters who spoke English (although I did try to converse in French). The view over the water is great.... More
