We went to this restaurant because it looks appealingly "old style" and you can enjoy the view of the sea, even if you aren't given a table right next to the window, which we weren't. We were overwhelmed by the wonderful meal we were served; the Saint Pierre was divine: in fact everything we had fulfilled our expectations. And we... More

We went on a Friday night and hadn't reserved a table as it was fairly early, but the place was heaving. However, we were offered the choice of 3 tables and chose one not far from the window. The service was excellent, although we did have to ask twice for the bill. The Casoulette St Jacques was very tasty but... More

I have had a quick glance at previous reviews but thought it better to stick to saying what we agreed we’d say when contemplating at various points during our meal last night (July 7 ’14) at La Table d’Henri. We (couple, widely travelled and dined) and son (just pre-teen, also familiar with different menus) had a window table booked….by far... More

My wife and I chose this restaurant because it was very close to our hotel and it was about to rain (which it did whilst we were eating!!!). What a good choice. We had a marvellous meal well served by good waiters who spoke English (although I did try to converse in French). The view over the water is great.... More

Lovely views if you can get a window seat. Food tasty but overpriced for what you get, except the starters which seemed to be much bigger than the mains. Friendly waiters and reasonable service time. No real help with the French menu so take your phrase book with you as the waiters don't seem to understand any English when you... More

A popular restaurant, it was ok but nothing special when it comes to the food, the staff was friendly.

we had several meals there and every-one of them was just delicious, including some real "feasts" as desserts

Great restaurant just outside the walled city, had an ocean view table with an amazing view. Good food, reasonably priced with great service.

We have just returned from La Table d'Henri and felt compelled to write this review. Firstly have read the previous review I feel that either they visited on a bad day or it was a different restaurant. We are English and know little of the French language ie 'school French' and found the service even though we were English impeccable.... More

A strange place. Local people are given a warm welcome and distinctly preferential treatment. Strangers are greeted with a cold indifference throughout and made to wait. My meal was acceptable - just - but I was pleased I had chosen the least expensive menu. A couple opposite thought her scallops smelled and tasted "off" and his oysters were not fresh... More
