Great food fantastic view friendly staff

We enjoyed a 3 course meal which included a full fruits 'de mer for starter, excellent but not over priced wine and a view right over the beach at St Malo. Advise booking.

This was supposed to be a "special" dinner on a two week tour of France. It was special, all right--especially awful. The seating was so jammed that it was difficult to eat without touching your tablemate. The appetizers were OK, but the main course was a disaster--undercooked white fish full of bones, served on top of mashed potatoes. The service... More

We didn't know the area but thought this restaurant looked inviting, and there was a varied menu. We were glad that we did - it was a great place to eat. Polite and friendly waiters and excellent food. I had mozzarella as the starter - good sized portion and nice bread. My husband had soup de poison, very tasty with... More

We visited this restuarant in September 2015 as part of a tour group. The restaurant was so busy that tables were jammed back to back, with no room between for waiters to move, or for diners to get out. Heaven help us if there had been a fire. Going to the toilet was out of the question. The entre was... More

Attracted by the lush décor we opted for a special meal to end our holiday. What a mistake. starter of mackerel bitter and dry, main course of lamb was extremely fatty, almost no lean meat in a large lump of fat, deserts OK and wine nice. Unfortunately both of us were ill that night the common meal was the lamb.... More

This is an excellent sea food themed restaurant with views on to the shore and sea in St Malo. The staff are friendly and you can view your proposed meal before it is cooked. Staff will expertly de-bone your fish at your table (if you order a turbot or sole). The food is very fresh and there is a good... More

We were worried that this would be a touristy place being just across the street from the sea wall in St. Malo. Not so! Some tourists for sure ( mostly French ) an tolerance for us, but not touristy The Amience was amazing, mirrors artfully placed to take full advantage of the light and sea views. Elegant and classic French... More
