Excellent Bistro near hotel

We walked in at 7:00 as they opened. Found it to be well staffed. There was a mixture of French diners, as well as tourists. Our husbands ordered the prix fixe: salad, mussels and fries in white wi e sauce and a caramel crepe for dessert. We started with zap pole cider from Brittany. The mussels... read more

Over the years the restaurant has grown to such a size that we feel it is time for them to open a chain. Perhaps with one location in Munich. (Without a "Drive-thru" ) We shall definitely be back for more.

Had a lovely dinner here. A 3 course menu at 16 euros where everything is of high quality and taste is certainly a rare and enjoyable find! The restaurant is beautiful and elegant. At the end of the meal the lady even offered a 'digestif'. Impressive and would definitely go back again with great pleasure.

Great meal, great staff. Packed to the rafters when we went on a Saturday night with mostly locals. Located at the site of Le Commerce which has now closeed as owners have retired.

We walked in without a reservation after our first choice was full. Server was lovely but service slow because they were understaffed. Food was ok, not great. BUT, we have been in France for two weeks and eaten in restaurants at least twice a day and this is the very first place that didn't include the VAT in the prices... More

The prices include vat, but on the Bill there's a detailed list of the amount of the price that is vat and the pourcentage of of vat applied. But the prices include all taxes More

We reserved a table here at the recommendation of a local. What a great recommendation. We were welcomed like family and taken right to our table despite being early. The menu included lots of local favorites as well as some just plain comfort food. Our server described the menu very well and we all were impressed by the modest prices.... More

We were staying at a hotel for 2 nights which was just a short walk away, and after a very disappointing meal in the hotel restaurant the night before we stumbled across this lovely restaurant. We had a look at the menu on the window which had English translations which did help, and also a little note to say "English... More

Went there on our second night in St Malo as it was just down the street from our hotel. Walked in off the street at 7pm with no reservation and was greeted warmly by an English speaking waiter who showed us to a lovely table near the window by the street. Lovely meal with warm service and food value for... More

It was our first night in St Malo, and rather than going by Trip Advior reviews,we asked for the recommendation of our hotel. Well, it was the best thing we did. We both are extremely fussy, I will repeat that... We are both EXTREMELY FUSSY! when you see "a piece of beef" on the menu, you think it is going... More

When it arrived the food was good. Our 7.30pm reservation saw us seated immediately and our order for a three course 'formule' was placed within ten minutes. Many other customers arrived to eventually fill all seats but there were only three floor staff on duty. Our starter arrived after a further 35 minutes and the main course at 9pm which... More
