Tucked well away from the main tourist streets in the old town of St Malo, this place is worth finding for a bit of a change from crepes and the regular bistro menus. Helpful young staff member went through the menu in English for us. I had a sausage dish, which came to the table in a heated cast-iron dish,... More

We found this little gem after checking out Trip Advisor. It's tucked away and we arrived just before 7pm and asked could they fit three of us...after considering the bookings we were shown to a table. We were so lucky as the evening was lovely. We started with the mezze plate which Is big and really interesting flavors, partic the... More

We ate a wonderful, long dinner here that consisted of several courses and a reasonably priced, nice bottle of wine. The staff were terrific and treated us exceptionally well. The food is French with nice local touches and a little bit of Mediterranean accent. A carpaccio of veal with an oyster relish was perhaps the most imaginative dish, and the... More

We ate here on Saturday night, and had such a lovely night. The food was great, an unusual mix of flavours which worked really well. My husband had the burger which he said was the best he'd ever had, and the mixed mezze platter to start was very nice. Lovely ambiance; we were sat next to the log fire which... More

We had a wonderful meal here, especially for the price that seems reasonable (as in St Malo, most are quite pricey). The hamburger was fantastic, but where the restaurant really shines is the cuisine that comes in the cast iron pots. For instance, the mixture of white fish and vegetables was perfect. The fish was exceptionally fresh and the vegetables... More

Imaginative menu and excellent food. It is worth checking the map of St Malo to enable you to find this restaurant as it is tucked away in on of the small back streets. It is not the cheapest restaurant in town, but the quality is excellent and the menu is very imaginative. We visited on a Sunday evening and we... More

The chef surely dreams about food, as every plate is wonderful. The winter Mezze for two held both cold and hot appetite teasers enhanced with spices from eastern and western cupboards: bonito tartar, melt-in-the-mouth marinated vegetables, bite-size little buns filled with feather-light foie gras and sweetened with prune chutney, friture on a duvet of tomato/butter sauce, paper-thin fried wraps of... Found the restaurant by chance, as previous reviews, tucked away in the maze of St Malo streets. It was busy and we had no reservation but they fitted us is. The menu is short and very original; the food was explained to us (we have some restrictions of what we can eat!). The staff (owners?) were very helpful and could... More

I took my parents here for a treat to say thank you. This was a special meal. This restaurant surpassed my expectations the food and service were fantastic. I would highly recommend visiting this venue if you are in Saint Malo. Thank you to the staff and most of all the chef. :)
