Best beefsteak in St Malo

If you are looking for a steak in St Malo, this is the place for you. I recommend the filet de boeuf. For thirty euros you get a huge, succulent piece of meat about double the size of anything you might get anywhere else, garnished with mushrooms, vine tomatoes and fried potatoes. This is a good... read more

For the past 12 years this Resaurant has always come to the rescue when our ferry from Guernsey used to arrive at 2200hrs. Sometimes the only one open but both service and food exceptional . Steaks and pink canard to die for. If you are not sure of what wine to drink then just tell them what type you like... More

This restaurant is one of a chain. They also own the Licorne and Cafe L'Ouest opposite. Each has what they might refer to as a "quirky" uniform (braces?!) that looks as cheesey as a ripe brie. Most of the other restaurant we'd selected to investigate we "en congeles" so we were a bit stuck for choice but I'd advise you... More

We had dinner. The steak was good, salad was small but tasty as were the sautéed potatoes. Creme brulee was good although a little large but better too much than too little. It was quite pricey soft drink each one main and dessert $129 euro. Nice position though and food was nice.

We went there for morning tea and had coffee, hot chocolate and crepes. The crepes were an absolute highlight. They were presented beautifully with an extra tiny meringue and we're definitely far above the usual French crepe. The hot chocolates were lovely too and the staff were very friendly and grateful.

Wow this was the place to feed a growing California boy!! He had a burger and I had a crepe! Huge beautiful plate of food that tasted out of this world. We sat outside in the covered patio and it was lovely. Excellent place to grab a bite.

My wife and I had a lunch here when we first arrived in Saint-Malo. We had several places on our list to try for lunch, but all were closed for the season. In frustration we decided to settle for what we expected to be a tourist trap. But we were pleased with the menu choices and then by the quality... More

Excellent food, huge portions and very tasty too! Had chicken with chips and delicious gravy, Son had huge homemade burger and chips with salad and hubby had pork speciality which was again delicious can't fault any good at all. Service was top notch and drinks good too. Recommend to anyone and would go back again.

Had a great meal here on a busy Saturday night. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. The place has a buzzing lively atmosphere about it, but you can still enjoy a meal for two. Would highly recommend.
