I love going here, to have a drink of local beer sat in a boat that you get to up a ladder. The bar staff are very friendly.
What's the point of going to Brittany if we will not have crepes and galettes all the time?! We had dinner here by accident and it was well worth it! It didn't look too busy outside but it was packed inside! Good thing that they still had space for us. The restaurant had a different interior theme for each section... More
Well, we tried to visit La Saint Georges based on the reviews here. But in a classic Anglo-French exchange failed to get past reception. We arrived just before midday on the 17th August this year. We had two young children with us who were keen to visit and loved the reception. Not as surprise as it and the rest of... More
I really liked the decorations, it reminded me of some famous French movies from 60s. I enjoyed one black crepe with snails and one sweet, with chestnut taste. And some great local ciders. Everything was perfect - If I ever return to Rennes, I'll definately return to this place as well.
This is the best lunch place in Rennes. Food was delicious. Service was prompt. Should reserve. Many locals which means it is good. Trendy place in the old city.
Best Crepe place ever!! Not your usual crepes but gourmet with foie gras. duck confit etc. beautifully decorated. Every crepe has the name George in it. Fun place to eat and not expensive by French standards for dinner.
La saint georges is one of the best creperies in Rennes. they have modern and classic combinations and a good quiet ambiance. It doesn't have a typical french restaurant decor, it's more on the modern side. Crepes are all really good for almost every tastebud! Really recommended! From Thursday to Saturday a reservation is strongly recommended. But it is not... More
Good place for celebration and special event. Stuff speaks English :). i woul advice to reserve table in advance . Creps are awesome there, whatever u order will be nice and tasty. p.s. i love furniture there.
Stylish environment - in the old part of town but with modern decor. Interesting crepes - mostly modern combinations of ingredients and not much by way of traditional meals. Good desert crepes too. Rather indifferent service, but who cares. Worth trying (be sure to book); we'll be back.
I was told that this was the best creperie in Rennes. As I have not eaten at all of them, I can't vouch for that, but this is certainly a happy way to spend an evening. The building is very old, and it's located on an ancient, narrow street. The interior of the place is interesting; they've preserved the dimensions... More
