Traditional french cuisine

We tried to eat here the previous night but they were fully booked,we took that as a good sign and the following day booked for that evening, The confit duck was superb as was the crene brulee and fromage blanc. Good attentive service and good food in pleasant surroundings.

This restaurant was recommended to us by the hotel (apartments) we were staying in, in Quimper. We asked the owner for a table for two for dinner and he said 'we are fully booked'. The place was mainly empty. The waitresses came out and said. 'it is ok' and seated us in a seat outside (all the others were empty... More

Found this little gem of a restaurant 3 years ago when we had a superb fish salad for lunch so looked it out again and its still there. Tucked away behind the cathedral on a pretty side street, we got there about 7pm on a Saturday night. We didn't book in advance but at that time it wasn't too busy.... More

If you want traditional Breton cuisine you couldn't do better. All four in our party found the food fresh, beautifully prepared and full of flavour, the fish being particularly good.

We were suggested to go to this unpretentious restaurant. It was a very bad experience. The atmosphere was banal, with paper table clothes and paper napkins, but it would not have been a problem is food had been of good level. Unfortunately it was not the case. The foie gras chosen as entry was average and served with cold toasts,... More

Great food and price. Good service. I ordered a Filet Mignon, but when it came it looked like something I have never seen nor tasted! The meat was sliced into thin slices and covered with a yellowish mustard sauce that was to die for. Accompaniments included green beans, potatoes, bread and a small salad. Nicely priced. Basic English spoken. Nice... More

My wife and I ate here twice. The entree le bord de mer salad was a generous collection of tuna, shrimp, mussles, unsalted anchovies, and fresh lettuce, tomato and cucumber. It was terrific. She had a chevre chaud salad, also very good. For the mains we had duck two different ways. I had a entrecote which was the weakest of... More
