We went to l'Escale a sunday evening and it was full! It is located close to the outdoor swimming pool where you can park your car . We had ray fish with spinachs, quite original and our friends got excellent scallops Oysters as starters and excellent sorbets as dessert. Decoration is interesting ,the service is good We recommend

Great seafood (soup de poisson, fried cod, cabillaud à la moutarde, haddock aux poivrons) and service in a cozy and quiet place.

Very friendly service and very good traditional food. Oddly Dinard is not over endowed with good restaurants, but this one is terrific. Make sure you book.

This restaurant is extremely overpriced for what amounts to little more than frozen cardboard calamari thrown into not hot enough oil, fish soup out of Tupperware containers or tasteless dorade (which could have been anything) camouflaged with ginger. Also, skate completely buried in cream and butter, so much so that the flavour of the fish was completely drowned.. You have... More

Quite simply the best mussels on the planet worth travelling long distances to experience the flavour of the freshest seafood imaginable. Lovely setting and a friendly ambiance of people enjoying good food well prepared.

The restaurant has a very nice marine/piratesque interior (to commemorate Captain Haddock and Popeye) and a very obliging staff! It is mostly frequented by locals. The menu consists of perfectly fresh seafood and convenient wines for reasonable prices! Overall a perfect dinner under perfect circumstances!

My wife and I went to this place on the suggestion of our hotel. From the onset, we were very impressed with this little gem. Great fish and wine with a dame blanche to die for! The owner was extremely hospitable and the atmosphere traditional yet cozy.

This beautiful, typically French restaurant blew our socks off! It was a recommended to us by a local so we gleefully set foot to find it! Find it we did and to our great delight! From start to finish, this lovely restaurant captured our hearts (and stomachs!) The welcoming nature the initial hello set the tone! How kind to be... More

L'Escale is a long standing favorite dining place for locals and visitors. The menu offers a nice selection of well cooked fish and meat with a sound touch of exotism.
