Very friendly waiters, place is nice small and romantic. The food is well though off, good ingredients, and it works. We both enjoyed a lovely meal.

For a couple or family doesn't matter. Not a tourist trap and absolute worth it. Kindly waitress and the food is absolutely brilliant.

We ate here on the first and last nights of our stay in Dinard, both meals were superb. The à la carte menu isn’t particularly cheap but given the quality of the food, you could not be disappointed. There are also two set menus of three courses for €29 and €39 respectively which represent superb value. The restaurant is a... More

This is a small restaurant with a growing reputation. It's situated near the market hall, away from the main 'strip' but very convenient for the Hotel St. Michel (q.v.). The charming, helpful staff speak only a little English so unless your 'menu-French' is up to snuff a dictionary would be a good idea. Very good value-for-money fixed-price menu available. For... David and Violaine host a charming, small, but truly outstanding restaurant. The food is very ably prepared: the entrecôte I had was wonderful. My wife had the sole and it was delicious. The users from nearby Cancale were the plumpest I've ever had: you could taste the brine and the clean feel of the sea. The Kouign Amann was a... More

Nice small restaurant with a very cozy court (even if we didn't get our dinner there) A young and kind staff takes care of you The food is so tasty and pretty simple with some recall to grandmama receipts Little too expansive if we compare with a couple of higher cuisine restaurant we tried in Dinard (maybe also our choices... Always go to he Balafon when in Dinard. It is set in a quiet street, away from the touristy areas of Dinard but is well worth a visit. It is not cheap but you certainly get what you pay for at this little gem of a restaurant. A typical meal for two with a bottle of wine will set you... More

Thanks to Tripadvisor we found our way to Le Balafon which is very close to where it is all happening in Dinard. Well worth a few extra steps. The young couple running this restaurant are charming, hard workers producing original and tasty meals. We enjoyed the experience so much we went back for a second meal during our four night... More

We have never had a bad meal there. Although there doesn't seem to be anything vegetarian on the menu displayed outside, the chef always produces something delicious for the vegetarian in the group. This restaurant can be recommended for everyone. At busy times it is prudent to make a reservation. The midday menu at 17 euros for 3 courses is... More

Just a little bit away from all the rest of the restaurants, this one is well worth the extra couple of minutes walk. Close to the Market hall and undergroung carpark. Only eaten there at lunchtime and always chose the lunch menu of the day, but always it's been lovely. Perhaps a couple of euros dearer than some other lunch... More
