We try to come here whenever we are in the area and it never fails to impress. The service is second to none, and on our last visit my partner dropped a fork on the floor and the waiter appeared with another one within seconds. The terrace overlooks the river and it's a lovely setting. Fish is always very good... More

We ate here on our second night of 6 weeks in Dinan at the recommendation of our landlords. By far one of the friendliest and charming dinners we have had in a long while. The staff was extremely pleasant and patient with my crappy French, teasing and playing along with my attempts. The food was superior, the service attentive and... More

Overlooking the Rance River, this is a small restaurant that appears popular with the locals. Although there are several Briton specialities on the menu, I had a very fresh goat cheese and vegetable salad which was superb. For dessert, the tarte tatin was amazing; be sure to order at the beginning of the meal. The owners have a distinct presence... More

This restaurant offers a variety of local specialties and has an extensive wine list. We enjoyed both the food and the location and felt we received a great value for the price. Once you have finished eating and you wander outside, you are right on the edge of an ancient stone bridge on the Rance River. It makes you feel... More

Great location. Friendly waitresses, who helped us with menu when we asked. Busy with locals - always a good sign. No set menu so you will have to go a la carte - not expensive though we had two and a half courses (wife shared my dessert - so no calories for her then!) and we had a bottle of... More

We have been to this restaurant a couple times and each visit has been lovely. The food is good, the prices reasonable and the staff/service friendly. All in all, it is a good value and the quality of the food coming out of the kitchen is well above average. Definitely worth a visit!

I love this restaurant. The food is straight forward and it is was it says on the menu - no surprises good or bad. What makes is place is the presence of the owner, who clearly delights in the running his restaurant and without fail looks delighted to greet his clients. I particularly like the haddock cassoulet but it is... More

Its a quite a walk down from the main town to the Quai, but it is very beautiful sitting by the river looking up at the viaduct. We admired the place immediately, not the least due to the handwritten menu (clearly not a chain) without a 'Anglais version. Our French is good enough to understand the main ingredients, though not... More

We enjoyed some very tasty seafood- haddock gratin (cassoulet) and fish charcouterie-ir seemed a popular choice, if you like Sauerkraut( i don't but my partner thought it was delicious.) Lovely riverside setting.
