We did this mini cruise last year and had our lunch in Cancale. The experience was unforgetable. We therefore tried to repeat it this year, choosing another restaurant this time. A mistake. Les 3 Lunes is situated in the lovely historical part of Dinan; both the outside and inside of the restaurant lack atmosphere. We had a Kir and 2... More

Had an absolutely stunning three course lunch here Saturday 15th March, part of the Gourmet Cruise with Brittany Ferries ... No one in the restaurant spoke English. But we managed, complimentary Aperitif , nibbles between courses and great service ... The food was divine , especially the deserts , very highly recommend

The restaurant is accessed via a shop selling specialist teas. I have been here twice recently and the food was very good both times. The cuisine is inventive and to a very good standard. Both times that I dined here I had the 'Menu Cordeliers' at €27 - good value! The raspberry souffle is exceptional. Service is friendly and whilst... More

The front of the restaurant is not sure whether it's a shop selling teas or a restaurant. The modern layout is odd with at least three quite separate eating areas. The restaurant may be quite busy, but as you're somewhat separated, it can feel a bit lonely. The food is very good, but perhaps a bit too nouveau coisine for... More

We went to this restaurant for lunch, following the advice of someone from Dinan. We took the lunch menu (3 courses for 16 euros). What a disappointment. Both service and quality of the food were really below average. As most other reviewers have mentioned, service is very slow; it does take lots of time to get served. The quality of... More

Hubby took me here for my Birthday we were not disappointed. It is a beautiful restaurant plus an outside terrace. Food was excellent, had to wait a little between courses but that did not detract from the experience, as the terrace is so delightful. There were a lot of local business people eating always a good sign! Would highly recommend

We had a party of eight so had the room at the rear to ourselves. We all opted for the 40 euros per person menu. The ballottine of quail was excellent as was the crab that others tried. The filet mignon of porc was superb as was the beef and bass that my friends tried. Desserts were small taster portions... More

Dinan is a medieval town perched atop an outcrop overlooking the picturesque valley of the River Rance. At its heart is the Place des Cordeliers, and at one end of that tiny but picturesque square in the former Franciscan convent of the same name, founded in the 13th century and now the home of a private college. Alongside the convent’s... More

Les 3 Lunes is a contemporary restaurant with a warm atmosphere. The chef is a real talent... we rate the food we ate here as better than many London 'Michelin' establishments. We took the E120 menu for sharaing / ' a duo' and were blown away by the offering of 6 courses. Each course just stunningly prepared with diverse and... More

It is a great place to try modern French cuisine. Friendly staff, but nobody speaks English (bring a dictionary). Food, service, atmosphere -- everything is just great. It is a must!
