My friend and I had there two dinners. Both we liked, though there wasnt something special. Sometimes you get your dishes cold (asian noodles for instance). Sometimes the service is slow. So, in general, our experience wasnt bad ))

When this restaurant was recommended the presentation was mentioned as excellent so I was expecting a flashy presentation of a few dribs and dabs of food. Actually the presentation was excellent, the portions very good and the food was tops. I had a fish kabok that was excellent. I recommend this place.

It was in my second visit to Brest for business when I decided to try this restaurant on my own. Roomy, well illuminated, attention to detail, right portions, delicious food, impeccable dish presentation, brilliant service and diligent staff. In one word: faultless. Ideal for business, not very big groups though, and to indulge your sense at a fair price.

A party of 5 had dinner at this restaurant attached to the Brest Oceania hotel. We were welcomed by a very friendly and helpful Maitre 'di. My appetiser was fois gras and it was extremely good especially with a glass of Sauternes. As a main dish I had a tasty steak with fries and mixed salad. I was surprised that... More

We visited Le Nautilus for lunch early this summer whilst attending the equally fabulous Tall Ships event in Brest. The food was the best we had in a restaurant during our week-long stay. I ate superb seabass (bar) and scallops 4 ways (Declinaison St Jacques), this being a seafaring kind of town, and we consumed a couple of bottles of... More

Food was good but in a nouvelle cuisine way (small portions). I was still hungry after the meal. Went there once but found better restaurants just a few minutes away on Avenue Georges Clemenceau street.

This is probably the best restaurant in a hotel that we have ever eaten in. Having just come from Paris, the two meals we ate here were much better than any meals we had in Paris. Really! The menu is not very extensive but what they serve is outstanding - cooked perfectly and presented in an artistic way. I had... More

The plating was truly beautiful. Unfortunately the food didnt taste as good as it looked. Had the chicken Yhassa. Strange to serve this good chicken with mediocre fries. Had a lovely crêpe Suzette for dessert though! When we asked the waiter if he could recommend a wine he just asked us what we liked and we sort of just ended... More

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Oceana in Brest at the end of our honeymoon. We ate at the Nautilus restaurant on both nights and I can honestly say it was the best food I have ever had! Definitely good value for money. My only small negative comment would be that the staff didn't understand English at all... More
