Main course "ombre chevalier", a delicious fresh water fish from the deep lakes near Switzerland. Delicous spices and fresh... read more

We were recommended the restaurant by friends and wanted to experience the great food and service for ourselves. We were thoroughly impressed by the cosy atmosphere and attention to detail that ran throughout the whole evening. The food was creative, well balanced and proved to be a talking point for all of my guests. Emma and Patrice made us feel... More

Emma and Patrice have created the most amazing fish restaurant in the heart of France. Their menu Grand Large shows off all the talents of this Michelin starred restaurant. Make a detour and dine here.

Oh Yes! I was tempted to leave the review with just those two poignant words, but I think Emma and her staff deserve a little more, but even these words probably won't do justice to the culinary masterpiece served up to us on Saturday night. We were in town for the rugby, 5 of us, friends who follow Leinster around... More

In sharp contrast to the black ,lava stone, buildings of Clermont Ferrard, Restaurant Fleur de Sel is a very pleasant, perfectly decorated , all in white, restaurant.Walls, furniture, table cloth and table ware all fit perfectly the atmosfere. Even the silver cutlery is a good match. But most importantly the food, mostly based on fish and sea food, is very delicious, imaginative .A perfect meal served... More

Nice location in the centre of Clermont Ferrand. Decor is totally white, walls, tables, flowers. Good classic cuisine but only fish on the menu. Not one single dish of meat.
