Good cooking but you need to book!

Quite surprised on passing an only half full restaurant to be asked if we had reserved and on hearing that we hadn't wouldn't serve us. Piqued, we decided to book the next night and enjoyed a very well cooked meal but noticed that they turned people away again even though the room was half... read more

Set down a side street off the promenade this bright blue and white themed restaurant looked inviting - the welcome was warm, and the service efficient. The set menu looked pretty good but we opted for the a la carte as we just wanted a main course and thought that by choosing from the main menu we would get a... More

I went there with my entire family since we were visiting Saint Jean de luz. We did not know about the restaurant. As soon as we entered we received a warm welcome. The waitress, I remember her, her name was Cindy, very professional and helpful. From the appetizer to the desert , she recommended us the best dishes ever. Everything... More

Having just returned from Spain the price of our meal here was a bit of a shock. The food though was very good and as it was November we were glad to find somewhere decent open. It was a set meal price but the add ons - drinks etc - pushed the price well up. However a very nice place... More

My partner had the seafood platter, which was excellent - very generous serving of mussels, prawn, king prawn and Norwegian lobster, very well cooked and presented. I had the only veggie option on the menu, wild mushroom omelette: rich, tastey and filling (with a plate of chips!). Excellent local white wine!

Great restaurant find in St Jean-de-Luz. Mainly a fish menu, with a nautical theme.

I've never experienced such poor treatment of fish and seafood. All deep fried to a cinder (even mussels) and at least half a litre of oil on the platter. Not for me thanks
