We have dined here two other times over the last couple of years and cannot imagine being in Périgueux without enjoying a wonderful meal at this restaurant. Walking into the courtyard we were warmly greeted by the owner and shown to a picture-perfect table. The leaves on the canopy of trees allow dappled sunlight to filter through onto the tables. The menu was carefully explained to us... so many tempting and innovative choices, very different from the standard fare offered by many of the restaurants in the... More

Stayed in Perigueux for three nights and ate out at different restaurants. This was by far the best. Patrick Feuga the patron was friendly and engaging. He was knowedgeable and advised us on the wine and food without being pushy. The food was wonderful, an interesting and varied menu using local produce. Each course packed full of subtle flavours, beautifully... More

We came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary but we knew virtually nothing about the restaurant. What a lovely surprise. We were pampered by our host who was attentive and pleasant without being intrusive. We were given the choice of a surprise menu, a formule or al a carte. I chose the surprise, my husband the formule. His salmon was... More

We arrived as an unreserved table of four and were given a hearty welcome and a choice of where to sit.Patrick our host was welcoming and informative. The waitresses were professional and left the real work of hosting to the patron. The three courses we ate were well executed and the timing between courses was exelant, leaving enough time to chatter and... More

On a warm early autumn evening the setting could not be better. The enclose court yard in a medieval street is perfect setting. Patrick our patron welcomed us, seated us explained the menu and took our order. It emerged that Patrick is also the chef, decides the menus and has a large hand in serving the food. My first course... More

Coffee and tea came with complimentary cheesecake. This was unnecrssary after the dessert and they billed us for it adding 4.5 and 5.5€. I dislike such practices
