Excellent mutton tajine with apricots and peaches (tender and juicy meat), standard dessert. Limited choice of wines, however the Bordeaux-like Moroccan wine was good and reasonably priced. All main courses were dished out without delay and service was attentive, even though the waiters seemed to be somehow impatient to greet us away. Nice ambiance.

This was my second time in this restaurant! It is better to reserve to be sure to find a table! The food is very good and also very bug dishes! The cous cous is great and also the meat! You can eat very well just taking the fix menu they propose!! Next time I will go again

The pros : very quick service despite a restaurant full, good choice of classical Moroccan dishes, nice staff, nice setting The cons : small dent on the plate used for the dessert, limited wine list (mostly wine from Morocco)

I went here twice - once with my girlfriend, and once with a colleague. Both times, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious. The complimentary plate of appetizers is copiously furnished with all kinds of Moroccan specialties, and if you combine it with their fig wine, that alone would almost make a great meal already. I enjoyed both... More

El Mamounia is a great restaurant in Pau. While you will not have views of the Pyrenees from here, it won't matter, because the interior is very interesting and fascinating-North-African inspired as is the cuisine. The restaurant staff are all courteous and attentive and were very patient with us as we perused the numerous choices available. Besides the excellent food,... More
